- ___?... ___! Where the hell are you! - I heard through the earpiece, I didn't have much strength to speak and much less to move from the cold floor of that building. Blood was coming out of my body as I had some knife wounds on me. My muscles did not work a hundred percent due to the fatigue of fighting. This mission was not as important as the others, but being separated from the other teammates, the opponents were able to reach me faster.

It was Bucky, Steve, Natasha and me inside the fight. In the distance I could hear hurried footsteps running towards me, strong arms took me and brought me close to a chest, I saw a blur to which I couldn't decipher who it was, but once he spoke, I could tell him apart.

- ___, you're here!... You're... bleeding! It's too much...- Steve took my body in his arms and I felt how he ran towards what seemed to be the ship to return, I started complaining a little from the drastic change of position.

- Steve? ... Let go of me, I can… - I tried to get out of his grip, but I was too weak.

- Stop complaining at least once in your life and try not to close your eyes, okay? - I sighed and nodded slightly, I struggled not to close my eyes, but sleep was taking over me. He looked at my face for a few seconds, seeing how my eyes closed on their own.

- Jeez, don't die on me! - He let out an angry shout as he quickly entered the ship.

- Don't tell me what to do, I'll die whenever the hell I want!... And this is not my time to die. - I tried to sound as strong as possible, but came out weak and soft.

I opened my eyes a little, but closed them again because of the clarity of the lights. We waited for everyone until they arrived, and we started heading to the tower as quickly as possible. At times, I moved some part of my body, but there was always that hand that kept me still in my place.

- Steve, leave me alone, my body hurts, don't you see? Let me move a little. - I mumbled as I reached my trembling hand up to his to remove his hand. - Do you not understand that you should be calm without making an effort? - He responded in the same way, I could find concern in his voice.

- I'll be fine, ok? Remember, ___ never dies. I could burn your hand, but I have no strength. - I gave a small smile before opening my eyes a little, to meet his gaze. - I'm fine, don't worry too much and don't blame yourself either, I was the one who separated from you guys, I kinda deserved it. - I laughed softly until I saw a smile from that man. - There's the smile that I love, but please remove your hand, I want to move my muscles a little. -

After some talks and fights between us, we were able to reach the tower, and they immediately took me to surgery to close my wounds and give me blood transfusions because of the big loss I had. Hours later, already in my room, I heard the door open and a person enters, it was him.

- Hi... How do you feel? - He sat next to me and I turned a little as I could to see him. I smiled when I saw his eyes full of concern. - I feel awesome as if someone had hit me with a truck. I told you I'd be fine, but you're so in your mind that you never listen to me. - I saw when he started laughing and then he started looking for my hand, once he took it, he caressed my knuckles which were bruised from fighting.

- I'm fine now, stop worrying, in less than a week I'll be ready to kick your ass in practice. - I smiled happily and saw how he approached to kiss my forehead, I closed my eyes feeling his lips while I had a smile on mine. - For the first time, I will say that I would love for you to do it. - Only our laughter could be heard from the room, while everyone outside was listening to our conversation with a smile on their face.

- Why does it has to come every month! What sin are we women paying!? - You said with all the strength you could do. You were in a fetal position trying to get those cramps to go away, Merlin, they were killing you. You moved every 5 minutes when you felt uncomfortable in that position or when you felt that part of your body goes numb. It was as if the Gods had punished you more than anyone else. The walk to the bathroom was like thousands of knives entering your body, your legs were weak, your eyes full of tears and sleep, and your body was at the point of exhaustion.

You couldn't move an inch because you felt like the red ocean might come out of your body. Between your legs, you had a pillow, and your eyes were closed feeling how sleep was taking over you, but seconds later you felt a big pain in your lower belly that made you make a face of pain feeling how tears began to fill your eyes. They fell down your cheeks as you let out sounds of pain. In a matter of seconds, you heard the door open, letting you hear heavy footsteps on the floor. A hand rested on your back giving small caresses.

- My love, how do you feel? - Asked that voice letting you know that it was your best friend, Regulus.

- I feel like I can die at any moment. - You said letting out small hiccups of sadness. You raised your head from the pillow, turning to see Regulus. Tears fall from your eyes, feeling another wave of pain entering. He took your body in his arms, lulling you and running his fingers through your short hair. You closed your eyes, feeling the warmth of him, tucking yourself in as if you were talking about a blanket. You were still sobbing in his arms, feeling his chest vibrate as he spoke.

- Please don't cry... If I could make you feel better, I would do it, princess... - Regulus spoke to you calmly and quietly in your ear. - How about if you take a nice relaxing shower while I go get your favorite cookies? -

Hearing the word cookies, you wiped away your tears, revealing a big smile on your face. You separated from his body, making Regulus laugh at your excitement.

- I forget how bipolar you can be in these days. - You snorted when you heard what he said, but you decided to ignore him and kiss his cheek.

- Can you take me to the bathroom? I don't feel like I can get up. - You gave him puppy eyes so that he agreed to your plea, Regulus nodded still laughing, and then took you tightly in his arms, so he could get up and take you to the bathroom. Once inside, he Left you on top of the toilet seat and then open the water of the tub and fill it with almost hot water to relax your muscles. You carefully removed your clothes to go to the toilet to clean my down there, then I got up and got inside the tub, not wanting to dirty it with blood. Once you were in that tub, your body completely relaxed, and you let out a sigh of relief.

Half an hour passed and still in that tub, you decided to leave, already feeling your fingers begin to wrinkle. You dried your body with the towel and left the bathroom, one you were in the room you jump a little scared by the boy that was in bed. - God Regulus, how can you enter so quietly? - You placed a hand on your chest, listening to the aforementioned laughter, and a small "sorry" came from his lips. Then you went to the closet to look for comfortable clothing, you put on your panties with a sanitary towel that looked like a pamper, then you put on your clothes feeling the heat radiate in your body.

You walked towards the bed seeing the plate of cookies on the table, your eyes widened like two plates, and started clapping your hands excitedly before throwing yourself into his arms.

- You're the best, Reggie. - You said having your face on his chest making your words unclear, Regulus put his hands to your head separating you a little from him.

- Do not thank me, I'll make anything for you to feel better on days like these. - You smiled happily before taking the plate of cookies and sitting next to him to enjoy the cookies having your head on his shoulder, savoring the moment.
