She only remembers waking up, in a nest but never feeling connected to the other imago. She wandered out of the nest, where she eventually found Shima.

And looking over to ‘Grin’ and Wade, Shima waves a little calmly, but Lucie growls low in her throat as she looks back at Wade. She wasn’t about to trust someone who mention ‘brains’ and ‘pouncer’ in the same sentence, even if she was no longer of the Swarm. Shima shushes Lucie, pulling her head close to her chest. The heartbeating calms Lucie, and she starts to rumble in her throat, eyes closed as Lucie savors the calming sounds.

She looks over to JD, now curious as to why they were here, to begin with.
