Neither Do I. But I Do Have An Idea, Thats Gonna Need Me, You And Fury So We Dont Have To Deal With This

“Neither do I. But I do have an idea, that’s gonna need me, you and Fury so we don’t have to deal with this or him. And that can also be discussed later.” She relays this to the two of them. She’d deal with the stragglers following them, as long as he found them a decent place to eat.
“If you think you’re the right one for the teacher position, I’m sorry I’m gonna have to tell you to fuck off.” She shrugged nonchalantly. He may be a potentially higher rank than she was but she’s older than him in experience and in age. She had seen too much and it was starting to annoyingly repeat.
“Flags didn’t help save the world, people did. They did it for the people they cared about. The world’s been complicated long before any of us were born, even before the cold war. Take it from me who’s lived through a lot of wars. Same shit different wording. ”
“Given your past involvement with Banner and Blonsky, how will we know you,” She pointed at him, “Won’t do to him what you did to them.” She then pointed at John. This matter was of great concern considering the British officials were afraid of the Hulk or Abomination as they were called coming to their country and the catastrophic risk of their people possibly being killed.
“Erskine believed in good people to do the right thing, but you’ve done all manners of wrong. Considering the creation of both the Hulk and the Abominationyour responsibility. Only to sending the former on the run, with the intent to hunt him down, while you seemed to be ok creating another monster that probably killed civilians in Harlem, on American soil. That wasn’t out of a concern of foreign security, but out of a desperate attempt to take your mistakes and do whatever you wanted.”
“And given the Sokovia accords tore apart the team, and given that we live with technology is another problem. What if somebody, decides to hack the databases containing records of superheroes? Their names, family all that in the hands of who knows what. What if they sell that to some organization and they target their identity? Target who they love, and what if all of that happens to Major who is on the line being the ‘spiritual successor’. Are you gonna take responsibilty for that, or are you gonna make him run? It’s a shock somebody hasn’t died yet.
“It’s only problematic when people like you try to give it one ‘definitive’ meaning. To fit the mold, and do what someone else is right. Even if the agencies disagreed. It’s all what Secretary Ross wants, and not what Major Walker wants, cause is so concerned with his flags.”
“In fact, why we ask him on his opinions on this?” She looked back at John. She could hear him, and they had forgotten the goal and him in this process. Whether or not he’s a spiritual successor to Captain America, he should still have a say in how he wants to do things.

“True. The ones that are alive have certain connections to other organized families up northeast. In areas like New York, Lost Heaven, and Empire Bay, they’re kings. New Bordeaux was just a foothold and the Marcanos being foot soldiers.”
“As long as they stay alive then it’s likely they may blow information on those operations too. Then the house of cards will start to fall not long.”
“But for now, that sounds good. It’s a good start at least.”

“Cleaning up some trash. A little while back, me and a friend got some revenge on a family organization headed by the Marcanos. They got their hands on a couple guns that shouldn’t have been in their reach, to begin with. Then they started a total takeover.”
“We took care of the Marcanos, but there’s still some strings we missed. Ones missing their times in court or are trying to bribe them.”
“Our job’s making sure they get their dues so they don’t try and rise up.”

Out of all the places for all the reasons, she really didn’t want to be here. She didn’t want to be having this talk about this person. But here she was having this conversation at this meeting about this person taking on her friend’s name. A name that the whole world seems to care about having serve their own needs instead of the people.
She comes alone in her uniform, repaired after the fight with Thanos, and a little darker than normal after accepting the Magpie within her although she did have a black trenchcoat over it all. She didn’t bother having someone tell her directions, she already knew. She remembered she thought she was a mutant, but even after knowing what she really was, she wasn’t sure how she attained all this power.
Standing at the door, she takes a deep breath, in a tiny attempt to calm down and hide her anger, before opening the door and walking into the room. Looking over everyone, there are some familiar faces, most notably Fury. But she looks at the one unfamiliar to her, the one wearing the uniform. She can tell he’s nervous and sweating. Mentally, she turns on any air conditioners in the room and silently walks to her seat next to her familiar faces. But she said something to him that nobody could hear physically because she said it mentally to him in a calm voice that greeted him
“Hello. I’m Dana.”

“I suppose that makes sense given your line of work. Usually, as you said it would be prepared before notifications were sent.”
“But given that this is immediately and on short notice, I’ll make sure you’re provided with some nonlethal options.”
“It’s not heroism, it’s a matter of making sure action is taken in order to deal with a problem first-hand. In case none of the big boys are here to take care of a mess.”

“Don’t worry that kinda stuff’s under lock and key till the day I die.”
“That’s pretty cool though, being bi. And I hate to say it, but part of me’s proud of you being honest and telling me about it.”
Especially at your age, I had it figured out as kid but didn’t tell anyone as an adult till Xavier and I had a telepathy session.

“What’s wrong? Too hot for you?”
