Hello, folks! I was originally posting MS stuff on @floofgryph, but things have changed now. I suck at playing the MS games, but I'm trying, okay?

Greetings, everyone! This is a side blog of @cypriathus and @floofgryph! This place is for stuff about my experiences with the Metal Slug games, written works, memes, and other stuff for the franchise. If you would like to know about me, consider checking out my introductory post!
I'm going to say that I'm fairly new to the Metal Slug franchise. So, if I get something wrong, please be nice and re-correct me!
I'll play Metal 6, 7, 1st Mission, 2nd Mission, and Advance eventually! I might give Metal Slug 3D a try...

The credits of the first Metal Slug are neat where the paper plane flies through the past stages.

Hello!
I have decided to enter the world of role-playing games as Marco Rossi (main character of Metal Slug).
I will be operating through my cell phone (cubot note 40), so I will be able to post images and videos. I also plan to publish games with an emulator if I can.
-I will try to be active! I hope to soon share my adventures and strategies on the battlefield with all of you!
If you are interested in joining our adventures or just talking about "Metal Slug" and other topics of interest, feel free to send me a message. Let's save the world together!

Metal Slug 3: Current Review
I'm halfway through the game and I'm enjoying it so far. Even though I suffer from major skill issues (yes, I just said that) and it's promptly kicking my ass, it's giving me an opportunity to think about what I should do better next time.
I decided to give Eri a proper chance for this playthrough and I feel sad whenever she dies because of her piercing scream of pain. I'm currently dying a lot like the previous two games, so it's far worse for me...
In Mission 2, I managed to save Utan! I also hope I can get Hyakutaro during my run. If not, I'll save Hyakutaro for the last three games that the Metal Pack emulator has to offer.
I've noticed that my two biggest hurdles to overcome are my lack of resource management and my recklessness. I definitely need to improve upon that, but it has been a struggle so far.
As of now, Mission 3 is my least favourite level because it starts with being in the gosh darn water and the Jupiter King (the robot boss in the boiler room) is annoying as fuck. It might be a skill issue, but I find that the controls feel a bit slippery and delayed when in the water. I'm not entirely sure about that though...
I sadly fucked up recapturing the prisoners when it came to Mission 3 because a piss poor save during the fight against the Jupiter King. I only recaptured 4 or 5 prisoners for that Mission, so it's not the biggest deal. I also had my first continue during the run as a result of getting fed up with Mission 3. However, it's not the end of the world and I firmly believe that I'll do much better than what I got for Metal Slug 2.
When playing through Mission 1, I instantly notice that there is a lot of replay value compared to the previous two because of alternative routes. It also appears to be far better than the first two games. After going through the list of games that the Metal Pack emulator offers, I have a strong feeling that I'm going to replay Metal Slug 3 again to get that full experience.
