me: ugh "dark and gritty fantasy" is such a stupid and overdone cliche we don't need any more of them

also me: symbiotic relationship between a dragon and a princess who likes killing. she gets the jewels and the satisfaction of tricking men and watching them die, and the dragon gets a shiny new enrichment toy with meat inside.
