Onto shift two!
Manager R pays for travel time if the shifts are close together, so that's nice (30 minutes between shift 1 and shift 2, and all of that was spent driving)
I got sunscreen in my eye, so the first thing I did when I got here was flush out my eye best I could and redo my make up. Then I changed.
Anyway, I don't really have interesting convos at this venue because it's too fast paced once it gets going.
I did cover my hands in lotion, though. I hate the feel of my hands after they've dried, and I loathe the feel of anything but cloth against freshly dried skin, but especially paper.
Anyway
Important question!!!
We all know that Batman is largely regarded as a Cryptid. We all also know that the New Jersey Cryptid is Mothman.
Because Gotham is in NJ, would Batman be the NJ Cryptid, would Man-Bat be mistaken as Mothman or would NJ have two cryptids named Mothman and Batman?
So, I decided to finally make Danny's coffee order for Enough Caffeine To Kill An Elephant.
The average weight of a female elephant is between 7,700 and 9,000 pounds. I decided to use the higher number because it's funnier.
Anyway, I did a quick weight to caffeine search and the second result said 5 milligrams to 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds because I'm American)
Taking the 9,000 lbs weight of an elephant and translating it into kilograms gave me 4,050 kilograms. What I did from there was multiply the caffeine to the weight to get how much caffeine would be in Phantom's coffee.
20,250 milligrams of caffeine to 4,050 kilograms of elephant.
Holy shit.
Maybe we should try harder to keep that particular recipe from Tim....and the living world as a whole

Crazy idea:
What if I give the characters I write the character growth canon seems to give up on?
What if I give those characters both healthy and unhealthy ways to process trauma and emotion?
What if, instead of giving those characters one personality trait each, I give them so much personality that they change how they act depending on who they're around?
What if I give those characters responses to situations that are logical to their character, but not the situation, or vice versa?
What if I write those characters like they're human? (Or human adjacent)
