about to go to a lecture that is notorious for making me fall asleep. i already feel tired. i went to get an iced black coffee to see if i could counter the tiredness. probably not, but i remain hopeful

there’s something very jarring about being in my uni hall common room watching the news. hearing about the russia-ukraine crisis, and then just to my right there’s 3 guys playing call of duty ?

like ? ?? it’s just so ? dystopian ?

y’all ever go to school mandated counselling and the counsellors general message is “either get new personality traits, or stop hating yourself” 

and she’s ? not wrong ? like, i’m going to uni next year, i can be someone completely different, or i can just,,, learn to not despise what i currently am. damn.

so like, yeah she was right. but also getting told that by an out of school therapist would’ve been like $200,,,, and i’d be fucking pissed if that’s what i was told wow

that’s all. remember to try and love yourself a little more than you did yesterday

honestly i’ve stopped caring if media is good. all that matters is that Me, The Most Important Person, is having a good time.

i was reading over some old essays that i’d written to see if i could steal parts of them for my current essay, and i am being 100% honest here when i say that one of The Best Feelings is reading your own writing and going “damn. that was a FANTASTIC line”
