As you MAY know (from my reblogged posts from @olithewaterdemon) I’m co-writing a fanfiction! I am also working on art and animatics and edits etc of it, and I think that I’m gonna start with posts of that. Eventually, non fanfiction and fully OC / original stuffs will be posted, but ima start with stuff from A Lasting Curse :>

Meet Azar. These face markings are non-canonical, but it looked cool. Anyways, Azar began with both amber eyes, but eventually, one started flickering red, and eventually, boom, one permanently red eye.

Azar is a fire elemental, a half-blood, and uses she/they pronouns. She’s a Slytherin! However, in our story, Hogwarts has All-Gender Dorms, which can be accessed by any house and has its own common rooms! Thus, the gender queer students (or students who simply… wanted to be in a different form and found accommodation there) are the source of the most inter-house unity in the entire school! You can choose to switch into and out of the A-G Dorms at any time.

The ref sheets of two characters I recently redesigned. Say hello to the NEW AND IMPROVED Arai and Luna! :)

I’ve had these guys for a while, even back when I drew like… uh well back when I was more of a beginner then I am. So a few years? Maybe two? anyways, these…. questionable pieces that I’m about to show you (from my current view) are (a small sampling, because the rest is worse and scares me) their concept art. They’ve changed a bit, haha. for example, Luna now has a tattoo, her wings are now retractable, and her eyes are visible. A fun note on her eyes: her pupils are both slitted, but one is sideways, which causes her depth perfection to be a bit

(she constantly bumps into things so Arai needs to be around her 24/7 to keep her from injuring herself, which is ironic bc Arai is more of a dumbass)

both of Arai’s eyes are now visible as well, and the colors of her eyes are less saturated.

all around colors have been shifted a little bit.

Huh. I had no understanding of anatomy or lineart. HUH. okay let’s not let Dragon start roasting their old art mercilessly or we will be here for much too long.

it is nice to look back and see how my art has improved though!

oh, and before I forget, they’re from like an AU of a separate universe I have.

this is a real actual interaction I had with my gf over text. It was. Memorable, to say the least.
