Does anybody else just give up on trying to figure out if Garmadon’s first name is Garmadon or his last name is and just decide he’s Garmadon Garmadon or is that just me

So uhhh half-baked AU time because I was listening to Devil in Me by Halsey :)

Headcanon involved that Wu got most if not all of the dragon while Garm got most if not all of the Oni from FSM

Also pretty much everyone is OOC in this sorry (staring at Wu)

Basically instead of Misako leaving Lloyd at Darkley’s she leaves him and a note explaining everything with Wu. Wu raises the lil guy and naturally because let’s be real destiny itself is his favorite child Lloyd knows he’s the green ninja from a very young age but other than that everything is fine and dandy for him until his Oni side starts to show.

Wu basically becomes a worse version of the Wu shown in fics by Citrono on ao3 towards this lil baby seven-year-old. Really pounding on the whole “Oni are monsters” thing while poor Lloyd is trying his best to suppress it and make his uncle happy because his uncle was so nice until the Oni stuff started showing up, so naturally his Oni side is the problem, right?

At some point he runs away and releases the serpentine, his thought process being “if everyone’s gonna see me as an evil monster, might as well act the part because nobody’s gonna believe me if I don’t.”

Wu finds him, is very upset with this, and proceeds to start finding ways to actively suppress his Oni side because “clearly you aren’t trying hard enough to do it yourself.”

Eventually the other ninja come along and basically this small kid is holed up in his room all the time afraid to hurt them because… ya know. ✨Trauma.✨

Of course Kai and Nya adopt the kid immediately despite his (and Wu’s) protests that he’s “not safe”

As time goes by without Lloyd doing anything nearly as dangerous as Wu was telling the ninja he was capable of, the team is suspicious and eventually confronts Wu after they find Lloyd crying because one of Wu’s suppression methods is causing him severe pain

Wu stands firm in his decisions and the ninja take the child and run because he’s very adoptable.

Eventually Crystalized comes around somehow and Lloyd’s Oni form is being really pushed (probably by Wu too now that it’s convenient) but by golly he’s got too much trauma for this

TLDR; give Lloyd more Oni angst lol

I am aware this is chock full of plot holes that’s why I said “half baked”

That feeling when you lose a contest to see who’s the most like you and then the judge proceeds to say that maybe not even you yourself can fill in your shoes while you’re having an existential crisis over it hahaha

Also I’m still only like in the middle of episode 4 of that season
