I don't know if this is a hot take but Alison Gordon seems like a really shitty mom from what we see of her? Like she definitely girlbosses her way out of getting kidnapped and she does a good fucking job of protecting Diana through the whole ideal. Buuut also she immediately dismissed her like?? 6 year old daughter??? Telling her that there is a MAN IN HER ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AS HER IMAGINATION WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT???? And then when Diana says she wants Lawrence to check her room not Alison- Alison goes to Lawrences office and says "your daughter wants her to check her room" right in front of her :(( idk about you but when adults said shit like that about me it made me feel like such a piece of shit for needing help.
