some quick chainshipping art i did today (saw hyperfixation is hyperfixating)

the art may be cringe and the characters may not look like themselves, but drawing it made me happy so by god i have no regrets

my favorite thing about saw the musical is that it lets both adam and lawrence shamelessly be sluts like god intended

cal and andre as lawrence and adam from saw.

cal would be lawrence. his parents and siblings would be the ones being held hostage to torture him. there’s something deep within him that’s fighting to survive, not for himself but for his family. he’s trapped in the bathroom because he’s taken his good life for granted. he acts like an asshole and takes advantage of the status he has.

andre would be adam. he’d be alone, desperately alone and depressed. that would be the reason he’s trapped in the bathroom. he doesn’t appreciate life. he stays in his dark appointment, focusing on others to distract him from himself.

ultimately, cal and andre work together to escape. cal ends up cutting off his foot, desperate to free himself from the shackles on his body. andre waits and waits. he plays tricks on jigsaw, pretending he got electrocuted and that he got shot. nothing andre does works.

cal escapes, able to return back to his family. he’s thankful, so thankful. andre, though, doesn’t make it out. he bleeds out on the cold tiles. he was promised rescue but never got it.

I like to think that although Lawrence is tortured by the visions of Adam's corpse, Adam is still alive. Jigsaw just told both of them that the other is dead because he saw how fucking gay they were being in that bathroom and didn't want their highschool ass crushes on each other to fuck up their apprenticeships.

Ok I'm only as far as Saw 4 but my assumption of chainshipping vs coffinshipping so far is this: Chainshipping is good for any fanfiction, hurt comfort? Oh absolutely. Kinky sex with or without plot? Fantastic. Domestic roomate situation in which they heal slowly together? Chefs kiss. But Coffinshipping was made to fuck nasty and kill each other, I can not imagine them in any situation other than a horny one where at least one of them ends up injured and most likely bleeding.

When I was a kid my dad always told me we couldn't sit in the back row of the movie theater cause that's where people would go to makeout. Anyway do any Alive Adam Truthers wanna go see Saw X with me I have two tickets for the back row.

Saw 7 is so fucking campy, I literally thought that the Jigsaw Survivors Group was something someone made up for a fanfiction I was reading before I watched the movie.

I don't know if this is a hot take but Alison Gordon seems like a really shitty mom from what we see of her? Like she definitely girlbosses her way out of getting kidnapped and she does a good fucking job of protecting Diana through the whole ideal. Buuut also she immediately dismissed her like?? 6 year old daughter??? Telling her that there is a MAN IN HER ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AS HER IMAGINATION WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT???? And then when Diana says she wants Lawrence to check her room not Alison- Alison goes to Lawrences office and says "your daughter wants her to check her room" right in front of her :(( idk about you but when adults said shit like that about me it made me feel like such a piece of shit for needing help. Then after Lawrence helps her back into bed feeling better she goes "you're not gonna leave me and mommy right" and he seems GENUINELY shocked that she would even think of that kind of makes me wonder if Alison was shit talking him in front of her and said something about him leaving them. They're both putting off a looming divorce which is shitty on both of their parts, but Alison makes me particularly angry.
