max said in one of his interviews that tan has never been loved before , and that’s sort of one of the main things that motivates his character . and that really got me thinking .

so , i’m gonna get serious for a moment here . let’s talk about tan , and why he does what he does .

this is it this is an amazing summary of Tan's motivations and of why he acts the way he does he desires love so much and the people he does love he would protect with his life but he's still relatively innocent and you can tell he's still kind of the 'baby' of the family because he clearly doesn't know about everything that's going on and discovers a lot of these horrible things the same time as Bun

Manner of Death sequel.

It’s gay, Thai Scooby Doo.

The cactus is Scooby Doo.

And it’s just Tan, Bun, That and Sorn solving goofy crimes.

Lots of fake ghosts. Sorn jumps into That’s arms at least once an episode.

Tan and Bun always make an overly complicated crimesolving board in which their hands touch, they make eye contact and then make out.

The cactus is randomly cut to all the time just… being a cactus. It’s always wherever they are. No one is ever seen carrying it, but it’s just always there.

That and Sorn really just reversed the “and there was only one bed” trope, like,

“AND THERE WERE MULTIPLE BEDS (but they still slept together)”

This is strangely specific yet 100% plausible. I accept this headcanon wholeheartedly

headcanon that can wears a sleep mask to sleep but like one with obnoxious eyes on it and the eyes glow in the dark and every now and then tin wakes up in the middle of the night and for two seconds every time the eyes scare the shit out of him and the only reason he hasn’t told can to get rid of it is bc he would never admit they scare him
