I always pictured Athena watching the events of The Odyssey as they happened to keep tabs on what her ex is doing but it's much funnier to know that she left him on read for 10 years and then came back to a text thread so insane that she immediately had to go fight her dad.
I really don't like the narrative of "Bruce thinks if he hadn't made Jason Robin, Jason would have ended up as a criminal."
I much, much prefer the narrative Robins (2021-) gave us. Jason knows he did illegal stuff to survive. He did what he had to do. But has been called a crook, a criminal, a kingpin and similar stuff so many times and yeah, he is one, that he believes this narrative of "oh, I so would have ended up as a criminal." Jason does not have a high opinion of himself. He knows his skills, he knows what he is, but his self worth isn't big.
And then you have Bruce. Who doesn't think that at all. He expects Dick and Stephanie to still be heroes if they hadn't been Robin. But Jason? No. Jason would be successful. He would use his skills, combine it with a passion and help others that way. In #5, they were all in a simulation based on Bruce's idea of what their lives would've been if they hadn't been Robins. And Jason? Jason is a famous race car driver. So good that he wins and wins and wins. He has his own charity dedicated to his mother. Every single penny he wins goes to that charity.

I’m a little bit obsessed with this scene, I couldn’t rest until I drew it. I’ve seen people interpret this scene as him cutting your finger off, but the description seems to imply him inserting blood underneath the nail? And the image for the bloody finger looks like it fades out at the base instead of clearly cut like the others. And it says that the nail still aches while the rest of the finger feels nothing.

Season 2 poster — this one was really fun! Season 2 had such a fantastic opening, with The Kumbaya Approach introducing Cutter (my favourite character). Sometimes I go back and relisten to that episode simply because of how well they introduced their villain.
And the world building with the previous missions and the Lovelace reveal.. it's so fantastic!

Parts of speech are broken up into separate sheets that can be navigated using the bar on the bottom of the page. Verbs marked with an asterisk are exceptions to the -is dropping rule.

dean and cas should’ve gotten married for some plot relevant thing in season 5/6, a spell or ritual or whatever, and then just not addressed it for the better part of a decade until they’re having a fight (also plot relevant) and one of them (cas) drops the H word (husband) and dean is like oh NOW he wants to talk about it? that was NOT a legally binding marriage! and sam (unfortunately in the room) is like *scoff* dean, since when do we do anything LEGAL??? (lawboy@stanford.edu) and cas is like “did you think a marriage initiated to satisfy a magical requirement would be beholden to the governments specifications???” and dean would drop it for the time being and then get irrationally pissed off because he’s been married to cas this whole time and cas is married to daphne allen AND the djinn queen now so it hardly matters if dean was there first and also he’s a dude and he’s not even into dudes but he also is (but it’s a secret) and that’s a knot he doesn’t have time to unpick right now because he’s fantasizing about asking for a divorce to win the argument he’s planning on starting after he cooks dinner.
