THEY FUCKNING DIDN’T 

I signed on Twitter to post some art but got hit with this news instead. Sharing as a reminder to all of you (and myself) to please take care of yourself. Get enough sleep, eat well, etc. It can be really hard to do at times when our work culture guilts and punishes us for resting while at the same time giving us inhumane work loads. But please be mindful of it. Take care of your physical and mental wellbeing first and foremost.

Toshiro and Hyourinmaru has one of the best Master - Zanpakuto relationship ever.

In the manga, Toshiro is shown about him pleading for Hyourinmaru to answer him when his Bankai was stolen. He even welcomed him when he got him back.

His past was shown specifically about how he met Hyourinmaru and Matsumoto.

And in the Zanpakuto Arc, all of them are manipulated and brainwashed, but they still remember their masters. All except Hyourinmaru. This just shows a lot. All other Zanpakutos had some sort of grudge perhaps against their masters or something. But Hyourinmaru and Toshiro’s relationship was so amazing filled with respect with complete trust and faith, Muramasa had to completely erase his damn memories.

Just look at the pure fondness in Hyourinmaru’s eyes while Toshiro is smiling with relief because he got his partner (friend) back. Their bond is unbreakable and most amazing.
