Don’t know how to respond to a post on this benighted thing, but indeed dear fellow @helayes, I feel your pain to the degree that I spent yesterday at the bottom of a bottle, and now have a bastard behind the eyes, the viciousness of which is nothing in comparison to the seething, rage-addled despair and bitterness I have over the pointless death of a magnificent, complex, Shakespearian character, all for shock value and giving a leg-up to a CGI monstrosity with all the depth of a fucking ice tray.

If your villain isn’t sinister and believable enough by writing alone, don’t scrawl your bloody crayons all over a masterpiece.
