I think it's really cool that Gale is so insistent on taking you into the weave to make love for the first time. It's so romantic and personal and probably has nothing to do with putting himself directly in Mystra's line of sight because of his pathetic desperation for her attention

It’s curious that Gale’s “best” ending, the one where he becomes a Blackstaff professor, is the one that least exempts him from Mystra’s influence.

A school founded and headmastered by two more of her most renowned Chosen. Where the apprentices openly worship her, call upon her, reference her—the ones who don’t know of Gale’s past nonchalantly wish him her blessings on their way out of his office hours, and the ones who do know whisper former Chosen to each other in the stairwells.

Not to mention the memories he has of his own time as a student there, honing the talent and ambition that caught her attention, visiting her altar in the dead of night. Now, to pass it on his way to teach each day—how could his stomach not churn at each reminder of how things have changed?

After his first time accompanying Gale to a reunion of the enormous and overwhelming Dekarios family, Astarion is rewarded. Sort of.

I genuinely feel the same way about your artwork, all of ur choices feel so intentional and ur symbolism is so specific (im drooling thinkin about gale’s kneeling position in ur last piece) I’m always so excited to sit with ur pieces and pick them apart for that kinda stuff. looking at ur art is so uniquely rewarding; you have such incredible skill and I feel blessed ur using it to put gale art into the world
