8. Do you prefer the beginning, middle, or end of a story?

It totally depends what I’m working on—I absolutely HATE writing the ends of smut fics (and it’s very obvious I rush through doing it) because to me the most interesting part of a sexual experience is the middle. It’s where I try to fit in the most characterization/dynamic building details because it always feels natural to kinda slot them in there. But if I’m rambling about Mystra on tumblr? I love endings. I try to make my angstier stuff kind of pack a punch at the end, and I think it’s fun to finish with something a little ~haunting~

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

oh my god. too fucking many. I’m a chronic phrase reuser (though I’ve been trying to get better about it recently!!) I think thematically I really like ideas of obsession and devotion which is why I like writing gale so much. I also tend to prefer setting stuff as close to canon as possible, it’s much easier for me to work with!

If Gale had access to all modern music (not modern au, just regular canon Gale listening to Spotify somehow) what genres would he listen to?

My first thought was that he'd exclusively listen to musical theater songs lol

I think that Gale’s most listened-to song would probably be ASMR Gentle Rain Sounds for Sleep & Focus [12 HOURS]

I also for absolutely no reason think he’d be super into jazz. I think he’d appreciate the art of improvisation and compare it to his (former?) grasp on the weave and his ability to compose creatively (albeit within stylistic parameters. much like jazz. ya know)

as for ur point… yes absolutely. I think he’d def be into more classic musicals (he’d go ape for like. singing in the rain and anything goes) and I can picture him humming a lil tune to himself on his way to the library

I genuinely feel the same way about your artwork, all of ur choices feel so intentional and ur symbolism is so specific (im drooling thinkin about gale’s kneeling position in ur last piece) I’m always so excited to sit with ur pieces and pick them apart for that kinda stuff. looking at ur art is so uniquely rewarding; you have such incredible skill and I feel blessed ur using it to put gale art into the world

I think it's really cool that Gale is so insistent on taking you into the weave to make love for the first time. It's so romantic and personal and probably has nothing to do with putting himself directly in Mystra's line of sight because of his pathetic desperation for her attention
