God the KNOWLEDGE OF NOT ONLY HE TIAN TRUSTING MO ENOUGH TO SHOW HIM, AND MO ABSOLUTELY LEARNING THE STRUGGLES OF HIS BOYFRIEND AND STANDING WITH HIM. but the small reminder that even though He tian probably lost his mom at a young age he really cared about her and loved her, enough to visit and tell her about the person he loved. And I feel like Mo with the knowledge of how much He tian hates his family understood that to bring him to the one person it seems he genuinely cared for was important enough for him to be silently thinking about it on the way back to his house with Tian

Ok I know it won’t last long right now with all the angst probs festering (IGNORING RIGHT NOW) but it’s just so nice to see 4 kids from different circumstances who all grew up somewhat lonely be able to create such a kind and loving little found family. He Tian with his broken family, Mo Guan Shan with his Dad and Bullying, Jian Yi with literally everything happening rn I’m so sorry baby boy, and Zhan Zheng Xi who honestly just doesn’t look like he really socializes heavily outside of Jian Yi.

And the best part is none of it came for free, it wasn’t just being accepted into each other’s lives and done. They like genuinely worked hard to change and learn about each other in their little personal relationships. You can’t tell me that Jian yi or He Tian wouldn’t literally die for them without a second thought and the others know that. This is a found family based off of understanding, kindness, and a little bit of elbow grease. Throwing 4 boys who at the beginning of the comic are literally so far from each other and closed off about all their little thoughts and feelings; to one that wants to show his broken familial past and mom, one that wants to do better and move on from his past and opens up about how hard it’s been, one that opens up about his struggling home life and mom, and one who goes from literally hitting Jian yi for touching or implying he is gay to being kind and open and loving??

they have been growing up so much and still have more left to go. But the fish are such a wonderful reminder that this little family has already taken route. Even if it might be rough later on, I think we all know this little family will eventually meet together again. Fulfilling the honest wants and needs of these 4 little lads.

I wanna see them kiss and look how popular Mo that. YOU FOOLS ARE MISSING WHAT WE NEED MOST.

To see Mama Mo be proud of her son and seeing him finally open up and be himself for the first time in a long one. To see someone tell Mama Mo how good Mo guanshan is doing and that she must have been a wonderful mother. To see Mo’s face after his mom goes up to him and tells him how proud she was of him this whole time.

He Tian and the others ofc helped make this change and their reactions definitely affect Mo. but at the actual bottom of things, nothing will mean more to Mo guanshan to have his mother so proud of him. That most important final knowledge that his mom is proud of him and what he’s done. And being able to tell his Dad that he is better and can help his mom when he’s not there.

I am happy with what we have right now but I can tell you without a doubt that final piece will be the sweetest.

Been thinking about Nick

Ok but the energy is that Nick has such an awful childhood of abandonment issues with his dad it makes me wonder if his habit of love issues stems from wanting that kind of love. But being afraid of being abandoned in the same way his dad did to him.

kinda like hurting them before they have the chance to hurt you. Which is why he always runs whenever things get serious. Like Nick is a good little guy at heart but you can always see he is always looking for that kind of attention and validation.

anyways to summarize I think my life would be complete once Nick Hoult goes to therapy and enters a relationship with an understanding partner (cough Lynn?) that reassures him they won’t hurt him in that way.

I feel like given the chance his character would be a really sweet guy when it comes to actual love and not just the standard routine he’s been playing. I also hope he eventually kicks his dad in the balls <3
