I Made This Model Entirely From Scratch For The Final Project Of My Interior Design Class. The Assignment

I made this model entirely from scratch for the final project of my interior design class. The assignment was to create a scale model of an informal provincial living room with working lights and an openness to the outdoors, so I created a “Coastal Cabin.” I made everything by hand, including the furniture, chandelier, model ship, and the diorama of the beach with a backdrop that I painted. I spent a solid month working on this in between working a new part-time job and attending class. I’m really proud of myself for pulling this off in that time with no previous experience building anything like this, and am happy to say that when everyone’s models were judged by working designers, mine placed first.
