Sometimes, I want to fly far away.

Away from here and away from you.

You have a way of fixating me and I am entranced.

Entranced that you would even think of me that way.

Way to be you. Way to be me. Way to see what I see.

See. Seeing is believing some say, I say dare to believe. 

Believe that you and I would ever be.

Be near, Be clear, Be seen.

Seen as one, not two.

Two of us together as one. 

One as a whole.

Whole? We will never be one. Fly, fly away from me I say. Fly.

Having breath to breathe,

Inhaling the salt air.

Birds from up high,

Never leaving the air,

Circling above not knowing.

Crunching between my toes,

Wandering beside my dog.
