Inktober Day 12 - Remote
A cry for help from Gaza
My name is Salem, I am 26 years old. I am married to Hadeel, she is 25 years old, and we have two beautiful children: Laila (5 years old) and Bakr (five months old). We live in the northern part of Gaza.
Laila and Bakr are my heartbeat, the light of my life, and my everything.

The horrific story of the recent war in Gaza
Since the beginning of the last war in Gaza, our home has been completely destroyed, forcing us to be displaced. We had to move more than 10 times to find safety. During this harrowing journey, we faced extreme hunger and malnutrition that almost claimed the lives of me and my children. In addition, we have been exposed to many serious infectious diseases and epidemics.
Before: This is our homeland, our dream, and our promising future.

Unbearable hardships
Every day I have to travel long distances just to get water, and stand in lines for hours to get food. My children's mental health deteriorated due to the war, their education was interrupted, and they suffered from catastrophic hunger that almost claimed their lives.
After: This is our house, built with our sweat and effort, and it was completely destroyed.

The right to a peaceful life
My children deserve to live a peaceful life free of fear and anxiety. I dream of your help to support my family and escape this genocide. Your help means the world to me and my children.
The cost of arranging travel for an adult outside Gaza currently varies
Between $5,000 and $7,000, and $2,500 for each child, in addition to a cost of living of $500 per month.
How can you help?
Your donations can be a beacon of hope for us. Every dollar can help save my children's lives and give them a chance to live in peace. Your prayers for us to overcome this ordeal and lift the siege are greatly needed
Laila: My beloved, the closest to my heart, and my little one.

Bakr: My child who came during this horrific war.

Donate now and help us get to safety
May God reward you greatly for your generosity.
Background on the Gaza war
The war in Gaza has left hundreds of thousands of victims, destroyed infrastructure, and left many homeless. The humanitarian situation in the region has reached critical levels, with severe shortages of basic necessities such as food, water and health care. Children are the most affected, as they have lost their sense of security, education and normal life.
Your support is our hope
Your donation is the light that can guide us towards a better future. Don't miss the chance to be part of a story that saves a family suffering from unimaginable hardships.
Donate now and make hope possible
Thank you for your support and kindness.

My gratitude
Salem and family
While you're here, no matter what you've answered I am offering you the opportunity to do even more.
Ahmed is six years old; he and his family are currently fighting to survive the genocide in Ghazzah, and have been for over a year now.

Much of Ahmed's family is disabled; his father is diabetic, his brother Abdullah is autistic, his brother Fathi is blind. On top of that, many of them have been injured by the bombs and shrapnel, like Mohammed, who is suffering from an injured leg.
They were displaced from their home by an evacuation order, and have since taken shelter in a UN school in Deir Al-Balah.
Life is incredibly difficult; they are surrounded by disease and death. The water that's available is contaminated, and food is scarce. Ahmed and his siblings have suffered malnutrition due to how little there is to go around. Ahmed's father lost his shop and no longer has a source of income as a result, making securing resources even more difficult than it would be anyways.
This description, in all honestly, doesn't do justice to just how horrific their situation is. Please do not grow numb to words like "contamination", "disease", "malnutrition", and "genocide". These are more than words on a screen; these are real things being suffered by Ahmed and his family as well as millions of others in Ghazzah.

In order to help them to evacuate and rebuild their lives, they need to raise €50,000. So far, they've only raised €3,847 with their last donation being 17 hours ago.
Please donate if you can; and even if you cannot donate, please share. Every contribution, no matter how small to you, makes a real difference.

Learn about Siraj's story
First: the identification card
Name: Siraj Abu Dayyeh
Number of people: 5 (Siraj, his wife Halima, and 3 children).
Number of times of displacement: 6
Reasons for displacement: threat of eviction, direct bombing, killing, and arrest.
The last place of displacement: a tent in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
The primary goal of the campaign: to rebuild and restore the house.

Note: This art is by the amazing artist @appsa 💙
Second: What changes occurred in achieving the ultimate goal of the campaign?
Displacement from the central area of Khan Yunis to the west and preparation of a new place.
Buying a new tent when my large family of 25 people, including 10 children, was displaced.
Buy a shader number 5 and wood to reduce damage in the winter.
Providing a water generator and an extension network.
Providing treatment for the family when they suffer from skin diseases.
Huge daily expenses in light of the astonishingly high prices.
📍Here I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who supported, participated, and cared for my family
“You are a crown on heads, you are friends of adversity.” ✌️🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸💙
Third: How can the primary and ultimate goal of the campaign be achieved?
By reaching 150k, I can rebuild and restore the house, and cover the changes that occurred in the campaign due to the ongoing fierce war on Gaza.
In conclusion:
The earth has narrowed us down and many have let us down. We have tasted woe, grievance, displacement, hunger, loss and pain.😢
We experienced the taste of twigs altogether, walking on the embers of emotion and sorrow. Israel killed us as if there were too many glimmers of hope for us!😭

Now we are begging you to help us face this pain. Every contribution from you is a ray of hope for survival.🙏

Hello,,
My name is Fatima Alanqar, I am 30 years old, and my husband Bilal Dader is 33. We are parents to five children: Yazan (12), Fadl (11), Zina (10), Rajaa (7), and our baby girl Basma, who is just a year and a half old.
My lovely family

We live in Tal AlHawa, Gaza. In the early days of the war, we were forced to flee our home after it was completely destroyed by occupation forces with fire and missiles. Our car was also burned down to a heap of metal, and all our clothes were burned too. We have been displaced 17 times, each time escaping death by a miracle. We walked long distances on foot with our children who struggled to keep up, driven by fear to escape danger.
After years of effort and construction for our house, then one day and one night everything vanished

My children's mental health has been shattered. They have suffered immensely from fear, displacement, and homelessness, with barely enough food and water to feed a small cat. They have endured carrying water over long distances throughout the day, surrounded by destruction, rockets, and shrapnel. They were deprived of continuing their education, despite being top students.
One of those times when we had to sleep in our previously destroyed house, a missile landed on us and, by God’s grace, it did not explode.

My children have been deprived of the food they love and need for their bodies and minds to grow, enduring constant fear and terror day and night for 10 months without any peace or rest. We also contracted many diseases, including hepatitis and skin infections due to the lack of water and hygiene supplies in overcrowded shelters and sometimes in our destroyed home :( . We were also forced to stay completely still for periods ranging from 3 to 7 days due to the ongoing siege, drinking contaminated water out of fear of the tanks around us.
Our car was not spared from the bombing either

The children's rooms were completely burned...

Some members of my family were martyred, and others were injured. Fear, crying, and sadness fill the place.
We once had all the comforts and basic tools for a decent life, but now we have lost everything. We cook our food over open fires despite the exhaustion and heat, and we barely manage to get flour, water, and firewood. Yet we remain resilient in northern Gaza despite the bombing, hunger, and severe shortages of water, medicine, and necessary supplies.
And now, that's all we have

I was even forced to wean my year-and-a-half-old daughter due to the lack of milk :( .
We are displaced and homeless, continuously moving from one place to another until this dreadful war ends.
My heart breaks for her.... :

We are in desperate need of your help. We invite you to contribute to this fund to save my family and provide us with a safe shelter, food, water, and healthcare for all of us. Please share our story with your friends and family to raise awareness and support. Your words and prayers give us the strength to endure these difficult circumstances.
Your donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in our lives. We rely on your support and standing by us during this tough time. Together, we can restore hope and safety for Fatima and her family.

With deepest gratitude from your faithful friend,
Fatima and Family

A distress call from a family trapped in Gaza to stay alive
We need you to spread our story to the world.
I am Diaa Ayyad from Gaza, I joined my sisters ( @asmaayyad , @esraayyad14, @samaayyad15 ) So that we can collect donations as soon as possible so that we can leave Gaza when the Rafah crossing reopens.
In this difficult time. The past 11 months of displacement and famine have exacerbated our suffering and unbelievable difficulties. We have used all the sad words to describe the situation we have reached, but these words were not enough. The scale of the tragedy and suffering is much greater than what you may have seen on social media.

My family lost their home and I also lost my home which I had prepared to get married and settle down in with my life partner.

My supportive friends, you can support my family either by donating or sharing our campaign link with others so that the goal is reached sooner, please help us.
We are very tired and no one is looking at us. Please help us. If you can't donate, share the account.

Good day everyone, I would like to bring attention to Mohammed Khalil's ( @ahmed0khalil ) campaign.
Mohammed made this campaign in support for his 6 year old brother Ahmed, and his family of 8 so they can evacuate safely.
Mohammed (19) and Ahmed (6) have four other siblings: Fathi, Aya, Anas and Abdullah. Aya (21) is a uni nursing student and Anas (15) is also a school student. Neither of them can study anymore with the current genocide. This war is especially hard on Fathi (23), who is blind and suffering from coronary artery disease, Abdullah (11) who is autistic and does not understand what is happening, and Ahmed (6), a small child who had barely started kindergarten before his education came to a halt.
Their campaign has been shared by @90-ghost, and as of writing this they've only reached €2,953 raised of €50,000 goal
https://gofund.me/e7d2b5e4
Please, donate what you can to support Mohammed and Ahmed's family!

Ahmed @ronzaanqar reached out to me asking to draw an illustration of his campaign. their GoFundMe is currently at €62,318 out of the €65,000 target. the campaign is vetted, here's the verification links. Please help them reach their goal as quickly as possible! 🇵🇸
Hello 👋 my friends ❤️
I am asking you to support my newly created campaign to help my family survive the gruesome war over Gaza🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸 to safety and ✌️ peace.
Life has become incredibly harsh, tough and full of hardship and painful suffering. We lack all he basic living essentials and necessities such as food, water , medicine and other needs.

The war has made our life hopeless and desperate 😞. My six-member family has been going through the hardest days they have ever experience for almost eleven months due to the disastrous war.

The war has taken every beautiful thing from us, leaving us homeless, displaced and jobless. Everything is tough and impossible to get. Water and living conditions are incredibly unattainable and unaccessible.

The rising prices of all necessary items of life has complicated our living conditions especially when all our savings were spent over the least necessities and needs.

A photo taken for my tender sick children who is suffering from a chronic disease relating to his respiratory system. 😭😭😭
That is why I am now asking you to lessen and minimize our burdens and loads of life through your contribution.
You can help my family survive 🍉🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 through donating whatever you can or reposting my messages.
** My campaign was VETTED by @gaza-evacuation-funds and

My family lives in desperate conditions. I present to you a family of more than fifteen children. We live in very difficult circumstances😭🙏🇵🇸🍉🔻

Our children often say: "Stop the war - we are children - we want to live." But does anyone in the world hear his screams and respond to him? We live in a state of despair. This family has been living for nine months in a small tent no larger than 3 metres. Imagine spending every day, every night, and every moment in such cramped conditions. They need urgent support to rebuild our home and restore a sense of normalcy

The situation is very dangerous, the bombing is random and death is close to us.
We are suffering from a lack of food, water and medicine.
My father was injured in this war and my younger brothers are suffering from skin diseases that are widespread in North Gaza.

Donations are very low, please don't leave me, I need your donations.
If you ignore this, you are condemning my family to death.
🙏Please continue to help my family get out of Gaza.
🚨can you share my campaign with your friends?
My name is Roaa Omar Al-Khalidi. I am 19 years old, a university student studying the English language. Throughout my years of study, I worked hard to build my future, to be an independent girl with a business and a university degree with distinction, and I did it in my first year at university, where I studied and stayed up all night; But the damned war took me by surprise and destroyed everything I dreamed of, just as it destroyed my family’s home, and now I am left without a home and without education, just like the homeless! My family and I were displaced from the north of the Gaza Strip to the south, to cover a distance of more than 15 km on foot. To come here to live in the south of the Gaza Strip in search of the false security that the occupation army had deluded us with. To live in a tent and in very tragic conditions. Water is not available. We carry it from a far place. To meet our daily needs, so help me and my family to travel outside the country, so that I can complete my university education and save what is left of my dream, and so that every member of my family can find their future, so that we can find safety and peace..https://gofund.me/fd4d9e3f
