Now that I'm older and in college, I feel like the relationship dynamic between Josh and Maya was... weird. Their age gap isn't necessarily the problem because if they were older, I wouldn't bat an eye. It's just odd that Josh would even consider her as a romantic interest. I just think you're at two very different points in your life in high school vs. college. Plus, was Maya even of age when she was talking to Josh? I don't know it just gives me red flag energy.
There's a certain thrill that comes with subscribing to a fic that has been updated in years. *sigh*
I can't stand the fact that we barely know anything about Jeffory or the jury of nine. Especially since it's supposed to be a main point of contention and it relates to one of the more popular characters (Katelyn).
