Very Wise My Friend
Very wise my friend
i’m usually not a fan of the “love conquers all”trope ngl. i think it can be really corny, and writers frequently take it as an easy way out when they’ve written the good guy into an otherwise inescapable corner. but i really, really loved the way it was executed in thor: love and thunder. because “love” wasn’t some mystical and otherworldly force that vanquished the evil whether the villain liked it or not. love conquered all in the end because everyone chose love. thor chose his love for jane over what would have been a futile attempt to save his own life. gorr chose his love for his daughter over his hatred of the gods. jane and thor chose to love gorr’s daughter rather than hate her for who she descended from. love is a choice, not an unstoppable force, and yet it’s genuinely more powerful that way

not sure why but I've always loved the scene from Almost Famous where William's bag splits open and then Dick helps him. It gives me good feelings of William having a kinship with every member of Stillwater.
Gail Levin is an absolute genius (she was almost famous’s casting director). she knew every character perfectly and got literally the perfect actors for every role. thank you Gail.
Ah Ms. Marvel giving me the horrible pain of THREE new ships to check on tumblr and pray for canonicity.
let’s go for Kamruno/Haram&Halal, Zakia, and Kamareem.
alright I gotta revise this timeline due to new info
it’s all the same except lodestar takes place in late fall (or winter) of 2013 since she just finished midterms. And flashback is early 2014 to late spring early summer 2014.
Thanks for presidentroarie for bringing this to my attention.
Side note: Shannon must feel pretty good about the fact that she left the elven school year ambiguous. And that she made it so elves can’t age, to confuse all us obsessive timeline creators.
