the thought of the moment is stede cleaning/bandaging up a wound on ed’s back while ed sits slumped over and tries not to let on that he’s got tears and snot pouring all down his face (feels safer than he ever has before being touched by somebody outside his line of sight) (still does not fully believe he deserves to experience anything this good) (stede is being very gentle and not even tugging at it or anything)

The whole scene with Bonnie, Alyssa and James in the cafe is so fucking amazing I can't even explain how much I love it

so I binged the end of the f****** world…

I could rant for decades abt how fantastic the cinematography, soundtrack, acting, character development, etc. was but I wanna draw attention to the v unappreciated moment of james getting the flowers and a lil vase so he can apologize to Alyssa only to have her come back with another guy and he doesn’t do anything but wait for her like fuck. up until her he forced himself to feel nothing, now he’s feeling and doesn’t want to stop and he knows she’s mad so he just accepts that and waits for him to leave then goes to talk to her. this was also the moment he decided once and for all he wasn’t going to kill her bc she actually meant something to him. idk his character development is absolutely incredible and I loved this moment so yeah sorry this was rambly but oh well
