Attention Merlin fan video makers! I need someone to make a Merlin & Arthur video for Beth Crowley’s song “Living Without You”. I’m obsessed with this song and I think it applies to them really well. I do not have video-making skills, otherwise I would attempt it myself. But I know someone out there can do this better than I can even envision. Please please please. I saw this picture on some random Google search about French Horns. They were saying that they used this to explain playing the Horn to a pianist. So true! When you can play almost a whole scale using only one fingering, you know your instrument has issues.

This movie has always been and will forever be my favorite thing ever. I love absolutely everything about it: the animation, the voice acting, the characters, the plot, the music. And boy, does it hit you hard from the very beginning. The pre-Ghibli studio seamlessly combines their animation with the Unicorn tapestries, over this hauntingly beautiful opening song by Jimmy Webb and America. I get teary every single time. Thank you, Peter Beagle for this timeless, amazing novel and Rankin and Bass for the film (and allowing Peter creative control over the screenplay).
