I never share fics, but this one is sooo good! The characterization is perfect, the pacing is perfect (normally that throws me because I'm aware I'm reading something that has to essentially slow down real-time reactions), and the dialogue is witty. Even if you've never watched or read My Hero Academia, this is so true to the source material that if you don't mind spoilers, this is a great way to get a feel for the series.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found by Andai
“That kid that I watched almost win against Endeavor’s son in the Sports Festival - the one you failed to adequately protect in the USJ attack, if I’m not mistaken -” Aizawa tensed at Hisashi’s words as the man continued, “- that kid is mine, not yours.”
“Wrong,” Shouta responded simply, continuing before the aghast man in front of him could spew out any more bullshit. “Look at ‘your’ kid right now,” Aizawa said, pointedly looking back towards where Izuku was trembling, surrounded by half the class and counting, all their faces displaying worry for Izuku, contempt for Hisashi, or some mixture of the two. “Look at that kid right now,” Aizawa spat at Hisashi, “And tell me he’s still yours.” … (In which Midoriya Hisashi returns to claim what he believes is rightfully his, and everyone else tells him he can fuck right off.)

Merthur, yes. But did you also mean EraserMic? (Feel free to add a pic or gif. I couldn't choose and I'm worried I'll credit someone wrong...)
One thing I enjoy about “opposites attract” kind of lovers is when the two are superficially different but share the same morals/values under it all, but the process of discovering that is a slow one and hampered by the fact that they have to learn each other’s language, so to speak. They both have very different ways of communicating and showing trust and affection, so like the angsty brooding character is suspicious of the bubbly character’s care because they believe it’s insincere, while the bubbly character doesn’t notice the angsty one’s subtle but significant gestures and instead takes their cold demeanour at face value. Then slowly, slowly on their journey together they learn how the other one speaks, and copy each other’s mannerisms, etc, and come to understand their values and how they really feel, like all this is a mouthful to explain but that is *chef kisses fingers* my fucking jam babey
I think they'd be besties...

-cool aloof mysterious dude who just wants a nap -very strong ethics, angsty background -would happily expel students who don’t live up to his expectations -would also die for his students and proven it -really powerful but sometimes forgotten in the face of more well-known names -takes fav student under his wing, teaches them his secret technique -stole my heart
which one am I describing ??
Calling all Merlin fans! Or Beth Crowley fans! Or Supernatural fans who understand the frustration of unrequited shipping! See the above post (or below. I'm not sure how all this works...)
Merlin fan video needed
Attention Merlin fan video makers! I need someone to make a Merlin & Arthur video for Beth Crowley’s song “Living Without You”. I’m obsessed with this song and I think it applies to them really well. I do not have video-making skills, otherwise I would attempt it myself. But I know someone out there can do this better than I can even envision. Please please please. Here’s a link to her song. https://youtu.be/WO1zD86F9LE
If anyone sees this and can point me in the direction of someone who would be willing to do this, please let me know. Or feel free to share it around.
Death Note fans! I have a question that I'm hoping you can answer. As a new fan who just binged the whole series, "that one episode" hit me hard and made me want to rage quit the show worse than I've ever wanted to quit something in my life.

Okay, I think that's far enough.
So. After Rem writes Watari's name, shouldn't they already be disappearing? How would they have time to write L's name down? Or is there a rule in the Death Note that I don't remember? It bothers me that Rem was able to write two names before dying themselves. Was it just an act of convenience on the author's part to get L out of the picture to further the plot?
