Harry potter was my childhood, it’s literally the reason I am who I am today. I hate jkr for what she’s done and I hate how she has hurt so many people, imo she can go to hell. With all that said, I can’t deny that harry potter is special to me, that it’s the reason I now own hundreds of books. This series is what has kept me going when reality gets rough. I’ve read each book 16 TIMES FOR FUCKS SAKE. Telling people to throw away something that changed their childhood and lives is stupid. If you still love harry potter, then just stop buying merchandise, or just buy unofficial stuff from people who support trans rights, watch pirated movies, download free books, hell, read as much gay fanfiction as you want support THOSE authors. You don’t have to give up something you love to stop supporting her.
