Sean Downey's portraits are based on such diverse influences as famous Dutch masters and modern comics, firmly anchoring the centuries-old tradition of figurative painting in the present. Using a realistic style, Downey creates emotionally intense portraits, mostly of women, in fully realized sets, where a person's face and mood depend on the environment. Downey's obvious interest in masters such as Vermeer and Norman Rockwell is evident in his attention to people engaged in their daily habits, such as a woman styling her hair or washing her hands, always in a modern setting and clothes. Similarly, in the tradition of the aforementioned artists, Downey paints not only faces, often depicting his figures with his back to the viewer. However, his hyperrealistic style and manipulations with oil paints make these compositions as memorable as his expressive figures facing forward.

Роберт МакГиннис  - американский художник и иллюстратор. В первую очередь МакГиннис известен своими иллюстрациями обложек книг,число которых составляет около 1200 и более чем 40 афиш для фильмов,наиболее известные из которых афиши к фильмам про Джеймса Бонда.

Robert Edward McGinnis родился в Цинцинати в 1926 году, а вырос в сельском Вайоминге, штата Огайо. Его талант, как художника, вначале, поддержал его отец, который помог сыну нарисовать его любимого мультипликационного персонажа морячка Попая. Мать Роберта, Милдред, не отставала от отца и настаивала на том, чтобы её сын посещал уроки рисунка, проводимые по субботам в Музее Искусств Цинциннати. После окончания школы, Макгиннис автостопом добрался до Калифорнии, где начал работать на студии Уолта Диснея, в качестве ученика, рисуя Микки Мауса и других персонажей мультфильмов, он учился искусству анимации. В 1985 Роберту МакГиннису, за его работы, журналом «Romantic Times» был присвоен титул:«Romantic Artist of the Year».

Robert McGinnis is an American artist and illustrator. McGinnis is primarily known for his illustrations of book covers, of which there are approximately 1,200, and for more than 40 film posters, the most famous of which are those for the James Bond films.

Robert Edward McGinnis was born in Cincinnati in 1926 and grew up in rural Wyoming, Ohio. His talent as an artist was initially supported by his father, who helped his son draw his favorite cartoon character, Popeye the sailor. Robert's mother, Mildred, did not lag behind his father and insisted that her son attend drawing classes held on Saturdays at the Cincinnati Museum of Art. After graduating from high school, McGinnis hitchhiked to California, where he began working at Walt Disney Studios as an apprentice, drawing Mickey Mouse and other cartoon characters, learning the art of animation. In 1985, Robert McGinnis was awarded the title "Romantic Artist of the Year" by Romantic Times magazine for his work.

Остров Межной расположен в Кенозерском национальном парке  в Архангельской области. Территория парка представляет собой природный и историко-культурный комплекс, расположенный в юго-западной части Архангельской области, его западная граница проходит по границе с Республикой Карелия. В 2004 году Кенозерский национальный парк получил статус биосферного заповедника и был включён в Список биосферных резерватов ЮНЕСКО. С 2014 года является кандидатом на включение в список объектов Всемирного наследия.

Кенозерье называют озёрным краем — территория Парка имеет развитую гидрографическую сеть и насчитывает 251 озеро, 67 ручьёв и речек. Каждый из многочисленных водоёмов Парка открывает свою неповторимую красоту в изгибах берегов, плеске волн, цвете воды.  Площадь Кенозера — 68,6 км², с островами — 99,4 км². Всего островов — 70! Берега и холмистые острова озера покрыты сосново-еловым и сосново-берёзовым лесом. Есть по берегам и пляжи с чудесным белым песком. 

Mezhnoy Island is located in the Kenozersky National Park in the Arkhangelsk region. Kenozerie is called the lake region - the territory of the Park has a developed hydrographic network and has 251 lakes, 67 streams and rivers. Each of the Park’s numerous reservoirs reveals its unique beauty in the curves of the banks, the splash of waves, and the color of the water. The area of ​​Kenozero is 68.6 km², with islands - 99.4 km². There are 70 islands in total! The shores and hilly islands of the lake are covered with pine-spruce and pine-birch forests. Большой ржавеющий дракон в заброшенном аквапарке Вьетнама.

Аквапарк The Ho Thuy Tien открылся в 2004 году на окраине города Хюэ, что в центральном Вьетнаме. На момент открытия он был ещё не достроен. Но из-за своей нерентабельности аквапарк был вскоре закрыт.

За какие-то 10 лет парк развлечений пришел в упадок. Полопавшаяся краска, гостевые домики остались без крыш, горки, затянутые лианами - и над всем этим возвышается мрачная трехэтажная фигура дракона, который обвил куполообразное сооружение посреди озера. Раньше там были аквариумы, а сейчас - ржавчина, граффити и отвалившаяся краска. Бывший аквапарк нынче зарос травой и деревьями, и на его территории одно время водились крокодилы. Одно время проходила информация о том, что аквапарк хотели отреставрировать к 2013-2014 году, однако из этого так ничего и не вышло и обещания остались лишь обещаниями.
