“Where is our other?” Z had asked, A looked at the carcass they sat on in silence. “Do you mean our mother? Is this our mother?” The soul asked, confused as Z shook their head “Other. We are all one. Sides of the same triangle.” “Then why are we torn apart?” Because our other tore us apart. We are both fourths, together we are halves. She is a halve to.” “Why are we sitting on her?” “Because he is dead.” A lowered his head after that but Z spoke up again after not long. “You have my heart. So I’ll take yours.” “Its broken.” “My mind is to.” A glanced over at Z again. Feathering vines wrapping around the carcass. “I am leaving now. I still must live.” “i want to live to.” “Catch me then” Z slipped to the ground, A calling after them, rolling off the carcass and chasing Z through the body’s walls. “I want to live to! My brother are waiting!” A screamed, running over body after body. But none looked human. Flames spark and electricity roamed his body. As a figure pit their hand on their shoulder. “Aiden. You must rest. We must accept our fate.” Aiden froze… that was his name. How could he forget that. How did he forget everything. This woman wasn’t human, she was all blue and glowing a Shepards crook held tightly in her hand. “Just come.” Her words lulled him for almost a moment before he snapped and ran, Z was almost gone. A white blinding light closer. How hadn’t he noticed it? He could feel the woman crawling after him, he knew her body had shifted and twisted to take up the walls. A bubling force of hands trying to grab him. He could feel it graze his shoses and unifrom… when had he been wearing clothes? Why was he wearing a uniform? Nevermidn that he needed to live. For what? For.. what was his reason again? Did that matter? He was sure Z had a reason to. But… he still reached for her. He can’t see. Why can’t he see? He can see but he can’t. He can hear he screeam, he feels the air(?) pass his face(?) as he falls. He and she are one. The woman is coming close. He runs to the light. And takes a breath as he pushed himself up right. He can see again. He can feel again. He can remember again. So why doesn’t this feel real. He is dead. He feels the feeling of decay on his body. The blood pooled on one side of his face. The hole of his chest and the ache of his head and arm and body and everything. How? He was alive. But why? He is dead. But he is alive. His hand in his chest proves it. The birthday decorations are scattered. Who’s birthday was it again? It didn’t matter. He wanted to go home.
