Tried to figure out if it was possible to draw Corypheus but like, young, and pretty.

Ended up too young and way too pretty so I'm just gonna leave this here and inflict tumblr with it. You're welcome.

dragon age inquisition dragon age corypheus finished painting I fell down some sort of garbage rabbit hole with this guy because the picture was gonna be super bloodmagicky but crawling through codex entries there's one about the ritual that mentions him using it more and more and I just kind of latched onto well hmm noot that but then I was still stuck on who that means he is like what do we really know about him he wears high heels even though he's like a ten foot tall darkspawn okay lets draw that how do I draw that idk man lots of gold thingies gold and hoods is your answer to everything kai idk man it's a good answer what can I say way too pretty tho like I am not feeling clean at how pretty I think this may be the prettiest face I've ever the worse the idea the prettier it turns out which explains red lyrium fenris I realized a lot of the outfit was pretty off-model for what we know about ancient tevinter and I meant to redraw it but I got to being done and stopped caring just went aeeeeeh If I'm no longer caring about fixing him turning out way too pretty I can't care about fashion btw headcanoning that he wore the stockings and heels even as a magister even though I assume he was probs taller than average just cuz he could wear heels and look down at everyone I have at least one dude saints row playthrough completely with the boss in heels so I'm not judging this is what I mean when I say I fell down a trash heap hole someone help like gosh dumat's acolytes took vows of silence could he have ever gone without talking this guy? nah. Stop the headcanons I don't even like him He shouldn't have made that face though his momma shoulda told him he'd get stuck like that

I love those red lyrium AUs but it occurred to me there is someone else who could be corrupted.

unasked for gift art is my middle name i think harpalyce wigglyflippingout what the hell is lighting we just don't know i was really upset at a persistent facial anatomy mistake i always make showing up despite rigorously checking my damn sketch and then i checked what i tagged the other doodles i did like this and they all had that same error like a lot worse the smallest miracle of art when you look at your stuff and shrug because it can and has been worse which means that it can and very well might be better later

when I was waiting for Winter Dragon to air a couple nights ago I had a few minutes so I started painting Tuon to kill time.

Then after I watched Winter Dragon the first time the guy with the stream played it like three more times and I forgot I was going to finish this and basically all I can think about anymore is Billy Zane, the Betrayer of Hope.

JOIN ME IN THE WINTER DRAGON FANDOM EVERYONE Yes it's a garbage can but I live here this is my home now tuon wheel of time best I don't know if I painted her with any accuracy because honestly I just kind of skim through all the purple prose bits and just imagine everyone looking like whatever comes to mind first out of the words I bother to read how to wheel of time by Kai also known as three books later you realize you were completely wrong but prefer your original idea the sketch of this is so bad I know the anatomy makes no sense hush it was late and I spent most of the time wrestling with livestream and it's fifty something non-working half a minute clips? from this?
