(I started coming up with fairly elaborate design aesthetic headcanons during the first book that I was pretty sure weren’t on track... until I got to the later books and decided, nope, this is a civilization that uses marble and wood on the interior of their space ships, I cannot feel even remotely bad for pushing the baroque elements)

I’d like to say that I have tried to do good by you guys but I use a tumblr style that shows dates on posts so I won’t even front. It might be a while before more posts, but I try to check asks and messages to this tumblr? I’d like to say things can’t get worse before they’re gonna get better again here but hahaha 2016 has proven me wrong literally every time I’ve said that, on a personal and a national scale, so we’ll just sit here and hope I figure out how life works soon.

I plan on tackling a bunch of the other characters, Pax should be in either the next set or the one after that (vague, sorry). I have a few characters I have really strong visual ideas and plans for, and my goal is to get to them as soon as I can, and once I’m done with that to get through as many main characters and fan favorites as I can before I burn out on it.

why am I starting something new when I have a bunch of wips I’m almost done enough with to post, why am I doing this late at night on a weeknight why am I starting painting when I told myself I’d just thumbnail it -- why is this all on one layer?

The Red Rising trilogy is pretty good, you guys. 10/10 would huddle under my comforter with a completely justified fear that all my faves will die before it’s over again.
