You guys most likely grow your friendship and bond over art!

Reader probably meets her at like some community service event they were forced to go to and just instantly click

You fully believe you’re gonna be bored out of your mind until you meet Rachel. She’s energetic and spontaneous, that energy rubbing off on you

It’s safe to say you both had a lot of fun painting the walls of the community center

The way she focuses her attention to the smallest of details while she paints has you lowkey captivated with the girl

And Rachel grows interested in you as you paint something so unique, she wouldn’t have even thought of creating what you do

You both keep contact and Rachel LOVES hanging out with you!

Reader is most likely just an average teen, spending the day going to school and hanging around New York

You’re like a fresh breath of air for her, allowing her to have a temporary get away from her lavish, suffocating home

You don’t judge or see her differently when she tells you of her extravagant life. You don’t judge her for what others may see as small problems. You listen to her problems, sometimes listening quietly or even giving the red haired girl some advice!

And because of this, Rachel grows closer to you, feeing that you just get her💔

Like you understand talking about personal problems can be HARD, so you just see her as a super strong person for being able to open up to you

No one can break y’all up, you’re each others ride or dies

Honestly I can see this relationship being either platonic or romantic

Both essentially having the same vibes, a romantic relationship would include the more intimate side of being a couple, like kisses and all that fun stuff

But let’s take the romantic route teehee

There are NO walls between y’all

you can read each other like open books

Rachel loves taking you to small, hidden places she finds while out in the city and just being around you

She calls you her muse (LITERALLY SCREAMING)

She’s lowkey made several portraits of you, most of which you haven’t seen because she’s embarrassed 😭😭😭

You guys spend some days just sitting with each other in silence, painting and creating new art that you often give away to anyone who wants it

You most likely know about her ability to see things that most normal people can’t see

There’s times where she’s able to talk you through seeing past the mist, allowing you to see some of the amazing things she sees (though a lot of the times you guys hide away when you see a monster💀)

And Rachel can sense you’re different from everyone else too, with your hyper active self always seeming to know when something is off, along with your crazy agility and strength

You like holding and playing with her hands! there always seems to be a small smudge of paint on her skin and under her nails, the girl unable to wash it away fully

She personally likes playing your hair!

I like to think that Rachel always has hair ties on her wrists so you already know this girl is styling your hair in the most weirdest hairdos LMAO

One time she tied your hair up to make it look like you had a spike Mohawk

Everything is good and fun between y’all tbh! You’ve met her father (this man kinda likes you, kinda doesn’t just because you’re with his daughter)

She likes hanging out and crashing at your home though

Rachel’s strong personality is something your parents/guardians LOVE

They love having her over, Rachel always manages to make the small, quiet apartment loud with laughter!

You like counting the freckles on her cheeks when night falls, her bright eyes staring into yours with admiration (OH MY GOSH I CANT RN😭😭)

Everything is almost perfect tbh

Until everything that happened in battle of the labyrinth and last Olympian, well, happens😭💀

Rachel has a new responsibility as the new carrier of the oracle, which unfortunately means that being a couple is off the table

She has a whole new life as the oracle and you being a new discovered demigod changes a lot of things

You both still care and love each other though

You just,, can’t be together in a romantic sense

But you can’t help but feel happiness for Rachel because she’s finally doing what she was meant to do! She’s always felt different and out of place, so seeing her take this important role fills you with joy!

This girl is actually so lucky to have you by her side, whether it be as her best friend or her boyfriend

You’re just so understanding and supportive, your relationship stays strong even with her role as the oracle and her attending Clarion Ladies Academy

You’re her best friend, her muse

And she’s you’re best friend, your first love

Nothing can break the bond you’ve formed together, through thick and thin, through hardships and heartbreaks, it’s always been you and Rachel against the world

Paladins Reaction to You being Part Galra Headcanons

So I read a request wrong and began writing these headcanons, BUT I’m not gonna delete them cuz haha😀‼️‼️

I decided to only write Allura, Shiro, and Hunk, just to get this out of my drafts

Allura

Starting off strong, Allura will 100 percent feel conflicted

She had gotten to know you and like you for who you are

But to find out that you’re also part galra? You’re part of the race that destroyed her planet, her home, her family? It’s just too much for her to handle

She kinda feel betrayed even though you technically haven’t wronged her by any means

Much like how she reacted with Keith, Allura would distance herself from you and just shut herself out whenever you’re around

You of course are hurt by this

You guys had gotten so close to each other and now she’s shutting you out because you’re part galra?

After everything you’ve guys have been through, battles, near death experiences, petty arguments, and this is why she’s blocking you out?

Treating you like a stranger?

Sure to some extent you understand why she’s so distant, but you had no part in what happened to her in the past

Allura needs to away from you to just think

She knows that you haven’t done anything wrong but she still has some deep rooted grudges against the Galra

Honestly time will be the only thing that can save your relationship💔

At one point, she just looks at. Like really looks at you

She realizes that despite finding out you’re part Galra, you’re still the same Y/N

Nothing about you has really changed my scepter learning this new information

It happens randomly but Allura will pull you aside and apologize

Idk, for me I feel like she would have a hard time apologizing since she’s so used having a strong personality, but with you, she can’t help but let down her walls again

Of course it’ll take some used to getting back in the motions you guys once had, but this will definitely bring you guys even closer than before :D

So while she accepts you’re part Galra, Allura mostly focuses on you as a person!

Shiro

It surprises Shiro but not that much if I’m being honest💀

Even before finding out he was part Galra, Shiro had always noticed how different Keith was from those around, which he immediately noticed was the same with you

Bro thought it was a coincidence that you both just so happened to have your extremely fast reflexes and advanced strength (this dude💀)

After Keith is revealed to be part Galra though, Shiro begins suspecting that you might be as well

There was just too many similarities and traits you both shared that the others may not have noticed

He doesn’t really ask you though because he doesn’t wanna put you on the spot

There could also be a reason why you haven’t said anything too!!

And Shiro’s intuition is right!

Soon after Keith finds out he’s part Galra and begins feeling excluded because of Allura, you reveal that you’re the same (look at you being supportive💔)

Bro applauds you because that must’ve taken a lot of guts

And when you look to him with a look of uncertainty, he only smiles at you

This dude doesn’t let the bad reputation of Galra’s affect his perspective of you

So while everyone is shocked at the information, he could only praise you for owning yourself with confidence

He might even let it slip out to you that he had his suspicions on you being part galra, smiling while you grumble out how you weren’t that obvious

UGH I LOVE THIS MAN SM💔💔💔

Hunk

His first instinct is to question who in your family gave you the Galran genes💀

“Oh cool! Real question is who was Galra. Was it your grandma? Grandpa? Mom? Wait wait, your great grandpa??”

Yeah this dude is SUPER supportive no matter what anyone says

Like come on guys we’ve all seen how protective Hunk is with his friends! He would totally have your back if anyone tries to bring you down because of your galra genes

If you grew up with Galran accustoms, Hunk would 100 percent ask you about them all

He’s just so interested on this new side you’ve revealed about yourself, it feels like he’s meeting you again for the first time!!

And because you’re from a whole different culture he knows nothing about, he’s willing to learn EVERYTHING

If you appear more human, Hunk will ask if you always knew you were part Galra, or if you found out in space like Keith did

But if you posses more Galran features, he’ll question what kind of human traits you have since your Galra genes are so strong

Like you’re literally the most interesting person he knows

He definitely tries cooking you traditional Galran dishes

Gets defensive of you if Allura gives you a nasty attitude after finding out your part Galra

Like bro is ready to GO OFF when it comes to you

He doesn’t want you feeling like your lesser than them just because of your heritage

Hunk will be your number one supporter no matter what people say about you and your people

He knows some Galra could be good, you and Keith being examples on his hope for change in the future😭😭

He will think it's joke but when the 'I'm kidding!' never comes, he tries not to make a big deal out of it.

Just chill and shrug like he was expecting it to happen.

"Oh well, if that's what you want."

He will overthink every situation where you acted suspicious; rejecting his affections, flirting with other guys— you know... signs of possible cheating or interest in other people?

Not that he doubts your loyalty but Leo's sense of inferiority can cloud his judgement; it's himself he is unsure of.

I'm not enough for her. There are better guys out there. I'm supposed to understand. Thoughts like that.

You better say it's a prank right away! Because once you let him go, he will probably cry and lock himself in Bunker 9.

You had to knock continuously on the metal door and sing like Anna in "Do You Wanna Buid A Snowman?" like for Leo to get out.

"It's just a prank, love. I'm sorry."

He lets out quiet sobs when your eyes meet, but he's obviously relieved.

Now, if you've watched the part in American Psycho where Patrick Batman breaks up with his fiancee then you'll be able to picture this.

Frank will cry, loudly at that. It will catch the attention of anyone nearby, embarassing you.

He won't hold back. No, no, no, my friend. There will be whining and any other loud noises any human in pain is possible of letting out.

Did you instantly think you are an idiot for doing this? Yes, sir! 😊😙

"Frank, quiet down!"

"Oh gods, (Y/N) doesn't love me anymore!"

"I do, it's just a prank!"

Stops immediately, dramatically wiping his tears with a smug look on his face. With your mouth agape, he walks away from you like an action star in a explosion movie scene.

"Next time you try to prank me, don't tell anyone beforehand!"

Will Solace

This lovely son of Apollo is always busy due to his medical duties in Camp Half Blood so he truly cherishes the short moments he gets to spend with you.

In other words? Don't fucking waste his time.

"Will, I think we should break up."

He had encountered many campers pretend sickness for various of reasons— wanting to escape cleaning duties, skip training, and many more.

He will see through your lie. He always does.

If you decided to pull this prank AFTER he got to rest from the infirmary, he will just give you the don't-try-me-bitch look.

If you picked BEFORE he got to rest, you're dead. Expect him to throw medical tools at you.

Don't worry, not sharp ones. Just the scabs, cotton balls, and such.

It can be annoying though, not mention the scolding Chiron will give you later for wasting inventory materials.

When people see you, they don’t expect you to be dating the one and only Percy jackson

Dressed head to toe in mostly black, wearing a Slipknot band tee while rock and metal music blares out from your headphones is the last thing some people expect to see at camp

So imagine their surprise when they see Percy holding and kissing your hand, sending a cheesy smile your way while you playfully roll your eyes

You guys are just so different from each other that most people wouldn’t guess that you guys are a couple

You’re dressed in dark clothing while Percy has a little more color in his wardrobe. you’re the black cat and he’s the golden retriever in the relationship 😖

But your differences is honestly what makes you both closer!

Percy could honestly care less on what people think of your relationship

He knows that as long as you’re happy doing what you do then he’s definitely happy as well

Though sometimes you might grow a bit self conscious of how you guys look like to others, Percy is quick to get rid of those thoughts with a soft kiss on your cheek

He understands your concerns, understands why you might be a bit more hesitant to be around him while out in public, but he makes sure to not let those fears control your guys relationship

His confidence gives you confidence💔💔

Moving on, when Percy first met you, it was definitely a really cool experience for him

He thought you were the coolest person, and he still thinks so!

You’ve shown him a whole new range of music he never would have thought he would listen to

The loud drums and guitars hurt his ears at first but he soon found himself enjoying the tracks you recommended to him from different bands

His personal favorite rock band you’ve shown him so far lowkey might be sleeping with sirens💀🔥🔥

He also likes all the rock band tshirts you have

They’re different from what he would usually wear, so this dude steals some of your shirts

The thing is that he can’t really hide that he steals your shirts so you’ll just randomly see him one day wearing your slipnot shirt, the black a stark contrast against all the orange camp shirts

If you also wear an accessories, just know if something goes missing, Percy is MOST LIKELY wearing it

OMG AND YOUR HAIR

Percy LOVES your hair

Especially if you dye it different colors throughout the year! I feel like dyed hair is automatically more fun to play with, so you know this dude is gonna have fun with your hair

I can imagine him trying to run his fingers through your hair only for it to get stuck a second later, your head pulled back as he keeps trying to get his fingers through it

Since you most likely dye and bleach your hair often, it’s lowkey fried and damaged, so unfortunately running his fingers through your hair might be a little hard💀💀💀💀 and painful💀

Percy might even wanna dye his hair to match with you teehee

You would paint his nails black when you crash in his cabin for a night (he learns to paint his own nails when you’re not around :,D)

Omg you might even draw some heavy eyeliner on him or add black eyeshadow under his eyes because he probably asked you to😭😭

If you have an piercings, whether it be face piercings or body piercings, Percy’s immediately asking if they hurt and to what extent.

“What’s this piercing called? An industrial? Damn, did it hurt?”

“It hurt like a bitch.”

“Oh wow ok, haha not getting that one!😀”

Honestly Percy slowly adds some of your stuff into his life, your band tees becoming a permanent clothing piece in his own closet

And you’re just happy that he’s so interested in your interests, seeing as it’s made such an impact in your life!

A small thought, you would totally get along with Thalia

You both might share some of the same music interests and immediately bond over it
