I have a transmasc friend who lives in an unsupportive environment, and I really want to help him out. He isn’t misgendered as female, but is told that nobody should have to use his preferred pronouns (He/They) because they aren’t used to them, and that ‘for good public image’, he should use They/Them only when he ‘must advertise his gender to the public’.

Obviously I’m pissed as FUCK, because this is exactly what I experienced (and still experience) as a young transmasc adult. I know firsthand how shitty it feels to be told that your identity doesn’t deserve respect or acknowledgement because ‘people aren’t used to seeing you that way’.

How do you make lime and chilli juice?

My time has come!

Chilli Lime Juice: The recipe for disaster.

Ingredients: Limes, Chilli powder, Ice, Tic Tacs (Optional).

Method:

Take as many fresh green limes as you wish, Make sure they are firm and smell sharp.

2. Cut them into quarters, like the moon, and viciously squeeze them into a bowl, channelling your inner rage.

3. Get the very hottest chilli powdoer you can find, as fiery as, well, fire.

4. Mix the chilli into the lime juice.

5. Cut up a bit of the lime peel into odd shapes and put them in, add a bit of the limes odd stringy inner stuff.

6. Pour the mixture into a glass, and place a slice of lime on the lip of the glass.

7. Add ice and serve chilled.

Optional: Eat a strong mint tic tac right after you've finished drinking it, when your mouth is on fire.
