I Forget Where I Saw This (probably Here On Tumblr) But I Saw Someone Say Javid Is Jack And David Movie

I forget where I saw this (probably here on tumblr) but I saw someone say Javid is Jack and David movie newsies and Javey is Jack and Davey broadway newsies and I have never seen something so real

Anyone who reblogs this post will have their user written on a poster saying "We Stand With Palestine" that I hope to put up somewhere in the village I live in, or the town that the village is next to.

Don’t flame me for this but I prefer the broadway version of newsies over the movie by a landslide. I didn’t even know that there was a movie until last year and I didn’t watch it until January of this year. I’m honestly surprised that I didn’t know about it because I “grew up” with newsies, but that was the broadway version and my mom has said she didn’t really love the movie.

That being said I do love the movie and all the characters but the broadway version just holds a special place in my heart. I will always be talking about the broadway version when I talk about newsies.

I have this weird thing where if someone compliments me, I feel like I have to compliment them back. I feel rude if I don’t. Like I know I can just take the compliment and leave it, but I just feel like they expect it back. What’s also weird is that I give out compliments to people all they time and not once does it cross my mind that they should give me one back, so I don’t know why I feel like it’s a requirement to give a compliment to someone who complimented me.

Compliment doesn’t feel like a real word anymore.

Lowkey annoyed right now. I convinced my parents to let me stay home today, which was great because I slept all day but when I woke up I got a text from my best friend saying that I missed newsies and that they were watching it in history. I’m a hard core theater kid and newsies is literally my will to live and when my history teacher told me that she also enjoys newsies and that later in the year we’re going to watch the movie and learn about it, I was ecstatic. I literally couldn’t wait because I already know a bunch about the news boy strike but of course a random Friday I decide I don’t want to go to school is when we learn about it?! Are you kidding me?!?
