People on tumblr are like "I'm handing all my mutuals a bowl of soup we are kissing with tongue we are the bestest of besties I am killing and dying for you" but sometimes me and the mutuals are posting completely different shit existing on the same blogging platform but really we're just standing in the alley going "ayup" at each other like fucking king of the hill.

Just so y'all know, when you are in a relationship, you and your partner are entitled to private spaces.

I know y'all were raised with the whole "if you love me then I should be able to walk unhindered through your life without question" but that shit is bullshit.

Super Spouse and I have endured some severe forms of personal space invasion that includes people going through our mail.

That ain't cool no matter how close you are to someone.

Look, Trust, with a capital T, requires you to let go of your own trauma and accept that this person will absolutely share their life with you, even the embarrassing parts.

Both Super Spouse and I have been violated in awful ways, and now, we Trust each other with such veracity that we actually take offense on behalf of other people.

I recently built a fucking folding room divider so that my boo could have an even more relaxed space of his own since his space is in the living room.

Some people might see that as "but what if!"

I see that as "my boo gets to relax even if I pass through the area to make hot chocolate."

We got to test it out for the first time this morning, and he was able to do his thing without worry, and I made hot chocolate.

Y'ALL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS PLEASED ME.

Or maybe you do if you have experienced life with family who feels they should be able to violate every section of your life no matter how private.

I'm sorry, sweethearts, but while being in a relationship does mean ultimate trust, it doesn't mean you get to invade every second of their life. Ultimate Trust is being able to give your boo their own space, which they share with you on their own accord.

I've gotten married to every single eligible bachelor and bachelorette in the country and they keep saying yes even though my previous spouses all died mysteriously while getting hit in the head with my enchanted war hammer. I'm pretty sure my horse is a daedra.

Everybody says the elder scrolls are powerful artifacts from before the dawn of time that have been lost to history, but I have two of them in my backpack next to my collection of severed witch heads and a couple of pies. The pies are a treat for my adopted children whom I love with all my heart, I haven't seen them in a while because I forgot which of my mansions I left them in. I have pledged my immortal soul to five different daedric princes.
