I think Neil Gaiman predicted the Barbie animated movies.

The Sandman was written and published in the 80s. 

He has a character named Barbie, like the doll. She acknowledges it. In her dreams, she is a princess hero or a female hero who has to go on this fairytale adventure with help from (mostly animal) friends to save the land/day from evil. 

About 20 years later, we have thse Barbie Classic movies, starring Barbie as either princesses and not-princesses. But the leading heroine in her story. All relatively the same plot: Go on an fairytale adventure with help of (usually animal) friends/ companions to Save the day from evil.  

As the years go by, the animation improves and the story changes with the branding. 

I am also aware about the Heroine’s Journey and Hero’s journey storytelling template. 

If i was serious or as extreme as MatPat, i would say “Coincidence? I think not.” I don’t know if Mattel was aware of Gaiman’s works or not. Idk how it took the company to write and create the movie and merch. Idk if Gaiman was aware of the animated movies. (i do recommend them for quiet relax/ downtime, if you’re an adult.) 

But i think Neil Gaiman predicted the Barbie animated movies. 

i have a lot of thoughts so i'm reblogging and not repyling. i be seeing the twitter updates saying "this character meets/talks to SOPHIA" and i'm just … SINCE WHEN???? i can't keep track. and SOPHIA was supposed to be a secret but when i see more and more characters meet SOPHIA, i just think ... so much for the secret. sooner or later, the federation will find out. or a secret will leak.

and some characters getting in on the SOPHIA secret felt unnecessary. Vegetta, imo, wasn't really part of the anti-fed or theroizing about the island sides. he just the protective father who wants to take down anything that harms his family. yes, the binary monster would be one of them. i noticed that moajority of his focus were on his family , on his builds, and making friends. why do we need Vegetta to meet SOPHIA so early?

It's too late now since the whole damn server knows Sophia, but since the start I've been saying there really needs to be a group agreement or even like 4 ppl to agree on bringing a new person.

So many people get introduced to Sophia and then the rest of the group has no idea lol

qsmp is somehow a sequel to Dream smp/ dsmp, Karmaland, Fuga Impossível, Herobrine: A Lenda, Chume Labs, Esconde-Esconde , and 2b2t. ... is that all? any more we should know?

edit: include squid craft, potato war trilogy, and smp earth into the list

update: there's now just 3 roles: you either start the drama/lore, get dragged into it, or just be an observing bystander. but the observing bystanders will eventually get dragged inot the drama/lore
