I’m not sure if it’s the seasonal depression that’s seemingly kicking everybody’s butt at the moment, or if 2020 just hasn’t been very kind to us so far…but I’ve been seeing a LOT of sadness and hurt and pain on my dash lately.
I need you all to know that you matter. You are not a burden. You are not broken or wrong for feeling this way. And you are allowed to ask for help. As fucking hard as that may be.
And everybody else, please make sure your friends are ok. They won’t always have the strength or the courage or the trust to reach out. Just a quick “Hey, how are you ❤️?” will go an awfully long way.
You’re going to be ok. Not all the time. Not every day. But respite will come. I know it seems impossible, but you WILL be able to breathe again.
You are not alone. I love you.
