It was a normal morning... Except for the Barron family...

*SCREAMING SOUNDS*

"WERE LATE IDIOT HURRY UP C'MON!" Barron screamed at IN MY EAR as I slammed my math book shut hurry to put it in my backpack

I was Barron sister y/n Barron was a semi good brother key word 'semi' because Barron teases me A LOT since we were young but he meant well I used to go too a school for VERY smart kids since I was smart at math but I changed schools so I could help Barron with his education... And since he had a injured leg (this happed after a few days after Arcade fight)

As me and Barron ran to the bus stop the school bus stopped just in time me and Barron were both panting from the run I push my glasses up me and Barron both tired from the phantom realm... REALLY TIRED

As you got on the bus Barron followed behind you you saw a group of students a ginger haired girl that had headphones and a crazy lookin boy right next to her talking non-stop right next to them was two brown haired people I instantly knew they were siblings... And finally two more a tall-lookin boy also with headphones right next to a boy that was blond with glasses with a astrology book...

I suddenly felt a gentle push from Barron I grumble "I am going..."

I walk to the back with Barron behind me holding my backbag handle I then felt someone grab my hand it was brown haired dude Barron and I stopped

"Um excuse can you let go of my hand I need to find a find with him" I said as my became to Trimble I HATED talking to someone I didn't know or people in general.

Barron stared at the dude as the girl right next to the dude whisped something in his ears and the dude let go

"Srry I just thought you we're someon else..." the dude started back at Barron

Barron then gently pushed me again signaling to keep going and I kept walking untill I found a empty spot as I sat Barron sat beside me

"Don't trust that kid y/n..." Barron said quietly bit I think not quiet enought because I saw the ginger hair whip her head around to us I just nodded as Barron said that

"Along with the ginger hair girl,the crazy lookin blond, the tall dude with the nerdy lookin kid too, and finally the two brown hair people...!" and that time Barron made it REALLY obvious who he was talking about now because the kids he was talking about whipped their heads around now looking at both of us

I trembled trying to not cause a fight...

"L-lets not talk about them I am sure t-they are VERY NICE people...!" I said with trembling lips and then I heard someone stand up and it was the brown haired dude and that's when I knew it was game over...

"HEY BARRON STOP TALKING ABOUT US TO YOU'RE NEW TOY" the brown haired boy screamed at both of us... before Barron could talk back the dude grabbed my arm tightly dragged me with his friends that got out of the bus already since we were at school... ALREADY?! And Barron was trying to catch up

Then the dude came to his friends which were the same people I was shaking like crazy now clinging onto my books I saw their eyes glaring daggers at me ever the nerdy kid that Barron was talking about...

"U-um I should r-really get back to B-barron-" before I could even finish the crazy lookin boy talked

"Naw you shouldn't go back to him beside Tyler over here just saved yo butt!" the brown hair boy name was Tyler... Ok gotta write that down when I get back to Barron

"O-oh but I didn't need-" again being shut up this time by the nerdy looked kid...

"Are ok did he hurt you? What did he make you do?" as the boy pushed up his glasses I was about to talk again before ANOTHER person talked damn how much am I gonna get cut out!

"Maybe we shouldn't have grabbed her so fast she looks scared!" the girl who I think was the sister of the boy named 'tyler' spoke in a worried tone

"B-but!-" dang I was tired of last night phantom realm match... Where is Barron righ now tho?

Loveable Headaches - Platonic Dad! Jing Yuan x Reader

Jing Yuan really does love his children, both you and Yanqing...but you two never seem to give him a break do you? From your brother always buying swords to you deciding to dramatically gasp about the future, causing them to be scared when all that happened was that they trip over a pebble the next day...

On a day where he wished he could be sleeping having done all his paperwork (or...most of them) Fu Xuan comes barging in dragging you behind her, glaring at the man. And although making people scared of their future is rather bad when you're a diviner...he can't help but chuckle sometimes Fu Xuan tries to make him lecture you.

Fu Xuan: General Jing Yuan, your kid started laughing when they saw someone's future. Jing Yuan: Is that so? What did they laugh at? Fu Xuan: A poor guy who got jump scared by a ca- Jing Yuan: Wheeze Ah ahem I mean, they did?

When you and Yanqing are hanging out together. It's either Yanqing being the responsible one and leading you out of trouble, or the other way around. Not one time have you two shared a brain cell and thought logically. At rare times, both of you would have no brain cells and Jing Yuan would have a Cloud Knight knocking at his office and bringing the two rascals who scared the trainee knights.

When Mimi first grew up and the family realised she was in fact a lion, you climbed on her back and began riding her around like a horse.

[Name]: Go Mimi go!! Jing Yuan: Sweetie…please get off her. [Name]: What why? D: We're both feline great Jing Yuan: *Trying not to laugh* G-good one…but you're gonna get hurt.

You and Yanqing probably on more than one occasion tried to go into R rated films when you both were younger. Unluckily for you, everyone knows the Generals kid.

The Dozing General loves his naps and sleep but he also loves you!...But if he hears you playing "We Will Rock You" at 3am in the morning with pots and pans one more time-

Honestly you give Fu Xuan a headache too sometimes. We already said you laugh at a divination you give that scares the other person but you also tend to act disgusted, concerned or any negative emotion when reading future moments...this can either lead to you telling them what happened which is usually such a small thing or you not telling them, simply stating "Can't say, ruins the future"

You probably stole a bunch of things from his room, it worked out for a bit as he wasn't sure where everything was going but you revealed yourself as the lil thief when you tried to steal his heavy sword. (It's a sword right? Or smt??)

You made Jing Yuan wear a powerpuff girls outfit once for Halloween. If he was a powerpuff girl or Dr whatever his name was I forgot, is up to you.

Jing Yuan seems like the type of guy to give kids the big chocolate bars for Halloween, so he needs to hide them from you and Yanqing before Halloween is here or else the kids won't have any as you snatched them with your lil brother.

I see that when you and Yanqing were younger, you tried dressing up as each other, wearing wigs and each other's clothing to try and trick Jing Yuan...however, your clothes were too big on Yanqing, and his clothes were too small on you.

Yanqing tried to jump scare you once when you were using the hose for something, needless to say. Yanqing came back in the house absolutely soaked.

Perhaps one day, the two of you dressed up as Jing Yuan, he found it so adorable!! He took so many pictures of the 'Mini Generals'...he may or may not have attempted to take a day off, gesturing to the 'Mini Generals' and how they would do the work.

Fu Xuan: General…they're kids, they're not ready for your job Jing Yuan: Kids! That want to be me, why not train them? Fu Xuan: General Jing Yuan: Ah, no fun Madam Fu, I'm going I'll do my work, I'll do my work.

He questioned if you were a dog in disguise when you were like 5 tbh. Cuz you bit a lot of things, heck he once came into a meeting with you hanging off his arm...by biting him...doesn't hurt him but he did question where you learnt that.

Yanqing was adopted as a kid, when Jing Yuan first came home with the lil guy, and introduced him to you as your younger brother...you tried to make him fly by throwing him off the kitchen counter, to which THANKFULLY Jing Yuan has the quick reflexes to save Yanqing, he scolded you of course. And hey, good thing Jing Yuan did save your brother as you wouldn't have your partner in crime otherwise.

Idk if I made the reader chaotic or not but hopefully this was alrightwfiof.

“[Name]!! Get down from that…NO DON’T J U M P”

March let out a small groan as she ran and stopped you from trying to jump off the fridge. She sighed and shook her head at you.

“Just what would Dan Heng think about this”

You stook out your tongue at the tired girl as she carefully put you down. Shaking her head. You were a new member of the Express family, Dan Heng had found you hiding when he was walking around Scalegorge Waterscape. And you seemed to cling to him, always hugging his tail. He doesn’t say no to it but he is surprised you seem to like him so much.

The Express like you as well!...Expect you seem to only like Dan Heng…especially when he’s in his Imbibitor Lunae form, not to say you don’t like him when he’s in his regular form, but you seem a LOT more attached when he lets you cling onto his tail.

It’s obvious to all the express (except Dan Heng it would seem) that you won’t listen to anyone but him, and on one hand it can be cute, on the other hand…it can be painful.

“[Name] All I said was that you couldn’t eat ice-cream for breakfast…it is not healthy whatsoever!”

March explained, puffing her cheeks, though maybe she shouldn’t say anything as she herself tried eating ice-cream for breakfast.

“Who’s trying to eat ice-cream for breakfast?”

A tired voice came, as Dan Heng came walking in, rubbing his eyes as he had just woken from sleep, his long hair tied back. After you joined he seemed to be in this form more often, for different reasons, one of them being you refused to sleep unless his tail was your blanket.

“[Name] is! Dan Heng tell them they cannot have it, and we’re saving it for tonight!!”

“[Name], Himeko bought them so we can have them to eat for movie night later tonight…plus having ice-cream for breakfast isn’t healthy y’know”

Dan Heng spoke gently, crouching down to your level, March stood behind him with a victorious grin. She knew you wouldn’t be able to say no to him…and she was right, you pouted a bit and looked away, crossing your arms, mumbling out an annoyed and reluctant.

“Fine.”

“[Name] sweetheart, please give that ba-”

*C R A S H*

Yet another mug belonging to Himeko broke right in front of her eyes. She silently mourned the mug, taking a small deep breath and looked at you.

“Y’know…your auntie Himeko liked that mug a lot sweetie…”

She spoke, gesturing to herself, but you simply stook out your tongue at her, about to reach over and knock over ANOTHER mug, this time belonging to Welt. Himeko was quick to swoop you away from it and caught the mug from making another loud noise. She placed it on a higher shelf, away from your reach even if you climbed and despite your thrashing, moved you on the Express couch.

“I heard a loud crash, is everything alright?”

Dan Heng called out, walking in, spotting the broken mug on the floor, his eyes softened and looked at Himeko apologetically. 

“That was your favourite mug…wasn’t it?”

“Yep…”

She sighed, shaking her head disappointedly. Dan Heng was quick to grab a broom and start cleaning the broken shards, Himeko smiled at his gesture and began ruffling his head as if he was a child.

“Himeko…”

*C R A S H*

Himeko froze and her head snapped towards the source of the sound, the direction of your very own bedroom. You had seemingly left quickly when Dan Heng and Himeko were chatting and now you seemed to have broken yet another thing, you came waltzing in with a bunch of credits in your hand, lifting them up to Himeko, and with puppy eyes said.

“I’m sorry auntie, here. You can buy another one!”

Himeko smiled softly at you and shook her head, carefully taking the credits from your hand. Although you probably only ran to your piggy bank (assuming that’s what you broke for the credits) because Dan Heng entered, she could tell you did feel sorry upon hearing it was her favourite mug.

“It’s okay sweetie…just…try not to do it again”

You smiled and nodded. Promising her you won’t do it again…if you couldn’t actually keep that promise, she wasn’t sure. And she was sure you weren’t sure either but. She’d forgive you again in a heartbeat if she’s being honest.

Welt stared blankly at your wall, the wall that had now been decorated with some of his artwork…his artwork that had been torn up and collaged up without his permission. 

“[Name]...what…is this?”

He spoke, pushing up his glasses as he closed as his eyes narrowed, darting at each page, clearly with a rip. Though he will admit that the collage…was pretty nice. Just…he wished it wasn’t from one of his sketchbooks, old or not.

“Art”

You said proudly, and sure…you weren’t technically wrong. Welt simply sighed and shook his head, crouching down to your level and carefully explained to you that you shouldn’t take things without people's permission. It isn’t nice.

You tilted your head and grinned, before grabbing his sketch book from your bed, looking him straight in the eye…you did ask but you did it while…ripping the page in the process. Welt could only pinch his nose in slight irritation…until the door to your door opened and his sketchbook was thrown behind your bed as you looked at whoever entered innocently.

“Big Brother! Look what I made”

“Huh? Oh…looks nice [Name]”

Dan Heng spoke, his eyes looking at the wall before it noticed Welt, he turned to face you with a concerned expression.

“Did you…ask Mr Welt if you could use his things?”

“Well no…”

“[Name], next time ask, Mr Welt really treasures his drawings”

You simply nodded with a small pout, honestly you thought it was an old sketchbook Welt didn’t care about…but hey. You still got a compliment from Dan Heng right? Welt could only hope you’d listen now that Dan Heng told you.

“Did you both really just go hunting in trash?”

Dan Hen asked with a deadpan, looking at you and the trailblazer, now filthy. You giggled a bit, scratching the back of your head. As the trailblazer was quick to defend themselves.

“THIS TIME…this time it wasn’t me, believe me. This one right here jumped into the dumpster first, so I jumped in to get them. Then I tried to catch them but they kept…SWIMMING?? Around in the piles of trash…wait can you swim in trash?”

The Vidyadhara put up his hand to silence the grey haired trailblazer, before his eyes glanced at you. Raising an eyebrow, he silently asked if this was true to which you…slowly nodded again, embarrassed. He sighed a bit and rubbed his temples, he was still calm. He simply pointed in the direction of the bathrooms.

“You two, bathe. Now.”

“But-”

“N o w.”

Movie Night! Finally, nothing bad happens. Perhaps that was due to Dan Heng managing to keep you calm and quiet with just his presence. But no one complains, everyones happy enough.

Everyone goes to their own room after they finish up so they could go to bed and get ready for the next mission, but they seem to find something in their room, a gift it would seem?

March's eyes widened a bit as she looked at the new camera that was decorated too! With her family, and a small note near it, reading

‘Thank you big sister!! I know you like photos right? Dan Heng helped me buy this for you, I hope you like it’

March squealed a bit and hugged the camera, thanking you a million times in her head.

Himeko’s eyes landed on an (albeit badly) made mug, decorated with various shades of her favourite colours and writing that she knew instantly was yours.

‘Best Auntie Ever!’

Perhaps she found her new favourite mug already…now for some coffee to pour into it.

Welt flicked through the pages of the new sketch book, only one drawing was made, at the front cover. He recognized your art style and smiled softly as he saw the mini doodles of the Express family and a very angry Pompom.

He grabbed a pencil and began sketching on the first page.

The Trailblazer lifted up the small trash bin pin, they could till it was custom made…I mean who would sell bins of them peaking out a bin?...

But they didn’t care, it was cute. They knew exactly who got it for them too. Carefully they pinned it on their jacket.

Yes you could be a pain for them sometimes, especially if Dan Heng wasn’t there to settle you. But they all cared for you, and just these gifts alone told them that you indeed also cared for them.

“But you helped me with buying them all and writing the words”

You grumbled, crossing your arms as the raven hair tucked you into bed.

“And you were the one who decided AND knew what to get them, additionally it was also your idea”

He speaks, a soft smile painting his lips. He always knew how troublesome you were, from the day he began babysitting you to the day you were allowed to actually live on the express. He knew you only really behaved around him and with the others well, your ‘true colours’ would appear. 

It was the others who thought he didn’t know you had a soft spot for him due to him calmly telling you to stop things then going on about his day, but he just knew that all it would take is a few words and you’d do it.

 But he also knew you still cared for the rest of your family. Although sure, you had your favourites, you had the one you were most soft for…that won’t change the love and care you have for your other family members. But uh perhaps you should show it a bit better…still though

They were your family.

And you were their family.

Neither of you would change that.

It didn't occur to me until after writing this that the anon could've meant Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng like Dan Feng, also I didn't exactly write babysitting (I mentioned it) but I wrote it more so as the reader living with the Express family. 🎃 halloween 2024 ABEMA stream news 🎃

The new Halloween event is the second installment in the “Lost with the Book” event series (the first being with Stitch). This one will be called Lost in the Book with (Tim Burton’s) Nightmare Before Christmas! This means we’ll we venturing to Halloween Town and meeting the ACTUAL Nightmare characters, including Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero themselves (those three were confirmed). Does this mean next year’s Halloween event will also be a Lost in the Book for the other half of the NRC cast—

The new character is named Skelly/Skully J. Graves. He is voiced by Yamaguchi Kappei. Yana worked hard to ensure Skully would look like a skeleton, even from afar! For example, she added a gradient to his hair and glasses to more closely resemble a skull. His shoulder pads and short waist coat are to help give Skully a slender and skeleton-like figure.

The new Halloween series of cards will feature slick stitched pinstriped black suits, inspired by Jack’s iconic look. Nightmare Suits!! The characters this time will be:

The Freebie SR is Idia. All SSR cards feature Jack Skellington, similar to how Stitch was featured in the SSRs for his own Lost in the Book event.

Quality of life update, they’re adding XL Nectar. Previously, we had only S, M, and L sizes. XL Nectar should help out with leveling up your cards! (There will be one free XL you can pick up in the Mystery Shop for a limited time.)

… Of course, there is also Lost in the Book with Nightmare Before Christmas merch, like a themed handkerchief, stickers of the event outfits, and charms of the outfits.

They also announced a Pop Up shop with new GloMasq and Playful Land merch. Some new merch they highlight are a Playful Land brooch, Grim acrylics, and mini-mini nuis of the characters in their respective event outfits.

The animation PV features the 3 SSRs in Halloween Town. We also see Skully and Jack posing together, and Skully utters the iconic like “This is Halloween!” (His eye color is seen in the PV; it looks orange-red.)

*sigh* I can’t believe this is the first thing I wrote after my Twst hiatus. This is based on my Student! Divus Crewel brainrot from two years ago, and I hope you all like my version of NRC’s attractive professor (〃´▽`〃)

♡ The Magift tournament is a rare opportunity for outsiders to visit Night Raven College. One such tourist is you, an ordinary student eager to see what the esteemed school has to offer—the inter-dorm game, the culture fair, and the handsome students!!

♡ Before the tournament, you explore the campus and accidentally enter an off-limits area. At first glance, the Pomefiore dorm looks as regal and intimidating as its students. And thankfully empty. Before you can return to the Hall of Mirrors, however, someone catches you.

“Look who we have here. I believe visitors were told that the dorms are a no-entry zone. You do know that we are obliged to kick out rebellious puppies, yes?”

♡ …...Well, at least you get to meet a handsome student before you are kicked out. He wears the standard NRC uniform accessorized with silver earrings, red high heels, and a black-and-white fur brooch. Even his natural features are devastatingly attractive, from his stylish black hair to his gray eyes accentuated with dark makeup.

♡ You don’t know what convinces him of your innocence, your flustered explanation or your fearful face. But he must’ve found you entertaining, because he laughs and tells you that he will keep this a secret. However, he can’t just leave you to cause more trouble like a lost puppy. So until the tournament, he will keep a close eye on you.

♡ It’s a convenient arrangement on both sides. The student can ensure your obedience and kill his boredom while you get a proper tour of NRC. You eagerly accept and give him your name, to which he charmingly introduces himself as Divus Crewel.

♡ Together, the two of you enjoy the culture fair. Beyond his serious first impression, Divus is the perfect date tour guide. He tells you about the school’s history, recommends the best snacks and merch, and is greeted by several friends. He is popular, charismatic, fashion-oriented...…and perhaps even interested in you.

♡ Not in a serious way, of course. He clearly views you as a cute little plaything with his casual flirting and suggestive gestures. But that’s fine; you flirt back and openly reciprocate his attraction. What a dreamlike tour this is shaping out to be. If only it could last forever.

♡ And that is how the two of you end up making memories in the woods behind the campus. Just a heavy makeout, nothing too risqué, though you and Divus end up quite disheveled. Who knows, the two of you might’ve gone further if a professor hadn’t caught you.

♡ The professor—Trein, Divus calls him—is not amused. After scolding the both of you for your debauchery, he tells you to return to the fair while he continues admonishing Divus. Unfazed, your fling rolls his eyes at Trein and turns to you. He takes off his loose tie, fixes your collar with it, and sends you off with a proud smirk.

♡ You see him again in the Coliseum, defeating Magift opponents left and right. He is dressed in his PE uniform this time, hair and makeup fixed to hide the evidence of your shared crime. After the tournament, he sees you in the crowd and offers one last smile, this time tinged with genuine delight from Pomefiore’s victory.

♡ And that’s it. Divus remains in the Coliseum, surrounded by teammates and sponsors, while you leave for your scheduled flight. Back home, you unpack your souvenirs—makeup, jewelry, official NRC merch, a jar of raisin butter…...and Divus’s tie. You take off the striped ribbon and keep it in a special box, the lasting memento of a dream.

♡ You don’t bother to reconnect with Divus. The two of you resume your ordinary lives, meet other people, and pursue your dream careers with little thought of your old fling. Apart from seeing Divus in his televised VDC performance, you rarely think of him and merely smile at that juvenile memory.

♡ Years later, you return to Sage's Island for a job promotion. Without the mob of tourists, the island is quite peaceful. A walk past NRC brings back nostalgic memories of that Magift fairytale and your rogue Prince Charming. You are chased out of that dream by the sight of a professor reprimanding his students...…and drawn back in when he turns around, instantly recognizable.

♡ A fancy black-and-white fur coat with scarlet accessories. Split-dyed hair fixed in a stylish hairdo. Sharp gray eyes holding your gaze with pleasant surprise. He dismisses his students and approaches you, a familiar smile cutting across his handsome face.

“Well, look who we have here. You’ve grown into quite the alluring mage, ______.”
