I’m still poor and computerless, but today I was able to get a computer to copy this from my notebook. Sorry in advance if there’s a lot of typo, I didn’t have much time…Anyway, here’s the last part of this little Jaybird x Single!mom (well, recently single again haha)…Oh wait I lied. I got SO CARRIED AWAY once more that actually, this isn’t quite the last part. The next part, will be the last. For real this time haha. I just needed more time to wrap everything up nicely ! Hope you will like this chapter :

“And please, don’t come back. Thank you.” 

Viggo’s words are like a knife slowly twisting in his heart. 

But he knows. He should leave. He’s the reason you’re crying right now, and he should go. ASAP. Because it’s his fault. It’s because of him, that you’re crying. In front of your son. 

You once told him that whenever things got too hard and you knew you were going to break down, you always made sure Viggo wouldn’t see you. You’d go hide in the bathroom until you were composed again, or something like that. But you always made sure he would never see you cry. 

Because if there was one thing you didn’t want, it was for you son to feel responsible for you and to grow up too fast. You didn’t want him to feel bad and to not live his childhood. You yourself grew up much too fast, having not so great parents…So your son ? 

You were going to give him the best childhood you could, with as little worries as you could. Of course, he was a smart boy (unfortunately sometimes) and would understand that you didn’t feel good from times to times…but still. You’d make sure he wouldn’t see you cry. Wouldn’t see you break. 

And here you were. Heartbroken. Your trust and hopes shattered once more. 

It was too much and you couldn’t hold it in this time. You held everything inside for so long, and with Jason, you had such high hopes… So you (finally) broke down. In front of Viggo. 

And Jason had to go. Quickly. 

He couldn’t stay, or he knew he would crack and apologize and…it wouldn’t be good. He couldn’t do that. Because things were better this way, even if at the moment it felt like it was a stupid idea, as he saw you cry and lose control. 

But he knew that ultimately, it was the best option. You’d get over it. And he had to leave. Now. Before he could ruin yours and your son’s life by staying. He fooled himself, thinking he could be happy and have a normal family life. 

He can’t. He can’t drag you and sweet little Viggo in his night life. He had to leave. Without him in your life, you’d be safe. 

Away from all this vigilante nonsense. 

And so, even if he felt like he was dying a second time (and this time he knew there was no chance of resurrection), he left. Without looking back. 

He couldn’t even remember walking from your apartment (where he left his heart) all the way to his car. He just kind of found himself sitting behind the wheel. Not sure how to process things, how to feel, what to do. 

He just…He just left you and Viggo. Forever. He just…

Before he knew it, right there and then, he started to cry. 

This hadn’t happened to him in years. Ever since he was a scared little boy, actually, living in a household without a father, and with a drug addicted mother. 

He started to cry. For the first time in years and years. 

Uncontrollably. 

His entire body shaking, as an endless stream of salty tears ran down his cheeks. He felt like he was choking, unable to breathe properly in between his sobs. His hands were gripping the steering wheel tight, knuckles white. 

For the first time in a very, very long time, Jason Todd let himself cry.

“It was cruel, Bruce.” 

Selina says, but he barely registers her words as he can’t shake your heartbroken face off of his mind. He heard she was talking to him, but he doesn’t want to listen. 

She looks at him, a certain curiosity in her eyes. It’s the first time she sees him that distracted and lost in thoughts. Of course, he was often “elsewhere”, because of his heavy past weighting him down…But when he was with her, he at least tried to pay attention. 

Especially if she was trying to tick him off, like right now. 

“Very cruel. Poor girl…” 

She adds, now staring at him intently, expecting an answer. But he stubbornly looks out the train’s window. And this time, she knows he’s not only lost in thought, but is also actively ignoring her. 

“Cruel, and very much unlike you. Care to explain yourself ?” 

Apparently not, as his eyes gaze at the landscape passing by, not moving an inch to even look at her. 

She knows he’s currently in “self-preservation” mode. That he’s acting as if she’s not there because he doesn’t want to talk about “it”…But Selina Kyle is not the kind of woman that will let somone ignore her. She narrows her eyes at him, and without further warning, kicks him in the shin. Hard. 

“OUTCH ! What the hell Selina ?!” 

“Oh, it’s alive.”

Things YJ Season 3 Needs:

- Wally West alive and well and happy

- Jason Todd as Red Hood/More than a fucking hologram

Base on the Fight scene where Batman was attacked by the Ninja Talons in the Batman vs Robin. This scene shows Shadow Wolf was ambushed by them while on patrol on her own, She barley escaped. I might put a dialogue later on.
