Does Anybody Ever Get Like A Whole Scene Dropped Into Their Head At One Time And You Have To Write It

Does anybody ever get like a whole scene dropped into their head at one time and you have to write it down quickly before you forget it? For that, I do a kind of short hand where it’s just dialogue and very minimal descriptions. Does anybody else do that? And if you do, how do you stay motivated to actually turn it into a polished scene?
