Story time! ( it’s about using escapism as a coping mechanism ) ( also just kinda ending up venting )

From around the ages of 6 and up I started using escapism without knowing.

One of my most common escapes was pretending/hoping that I was part of a big royal family who would come get me and take me away from my current parents.

I liked to believe and live thinking there could be an out, someone would come looking for me one day, and I would go to an amazing life with a kind caring family. They would always love me no matter what.

Or now that I’m older I, and as much as it might seem weird, is that I pretend to sometimes be the parents I always wanted. In my backpack/lunchbox I leave the little “I love you!! ❤️ “ Notes in there for me to find. Or I make myself a chore list and then I add little note saying how proud they are of me.

My parents would never do these things. They also wouldn’t be accepting of me in any way, but I love to pretend and do things and imagine it’s them doing/saying it.

Now my parents aren’t like abusive or too neglectful, but they definitely aren’t at home a lot and don’t have time for me most of the time other then “how was your day” “hello” or “your grades are getting lower” “ just try harder”

My grandmother is kind of raising me at this point ( the amount of times I’ve called her mom is concerning ) and she acts like a way better mother figure than my mother most days.

I do however love my father very much. He does have a temper but normally not at me. We share most the same issues so we get along well!

Anyway sorry for info/ dumping have my life store on a random app full of random people who ( understandably) don’t care that much !!! Have a nice day lol

I just want to listen to post-punk russian music from the roof of a lonely concrete building while I look at the distant lights of the city and ponder the meaning of existence.

Daydream inspiration is so random. I can watch a fantastic show or read a fantastic book and nothing. I can watch one with a great premise and poor execution and nothing (despite the huge gap for daydreaming)

But then I watch the Grand Tour randomly and my brain goes Yes! Daydream being a presenter on this! For three days straight!

I had to do a comic for my comics club around the theme of dreams. Since I don’t remember a lot of my dreams, I decided to draw about my daydreams.

I don’t know if I’m the only one that specifically feels like this but man it feels nice to put my feelings about them as a comic :>! 

there's nothing better than listening to music, feeling like writing, but just daydreaming.

opening pinterest can be the best you can do (in case you get inspiration and ideas and actually write them) or the worse (in case you spend hours just vibin there collecting vague ideas in images without ever writing anything).

in my case, it’s always the second one.

lazy mornings, having a hot breakfast, reading on the couch, then listening to a new album and daydreaming about your stories.

i'll be dreaming about summer again.

i love intense people. fast replies, lots of messages, tell me you day in detail, talk about your interests and hyperfixations, let's get passionate about the moon and the universe and life and let's dream that we're in a roof in paris drinking and staring at the sky like we're gonna live forever and read poetry aloud.

and i then put my headphones on and suddenly i'm fourteen again and i'm listening to the same damn good hard rock music and the sun is setting and i'm going to see my friends next weekend and everything is fine.

Okie but, we should talk about our para-animals more.

I've had many animals in the past and now. But my main para-animals are 4 Big bois that are boars and I love them all with all my heart.

They're all australian wild boars but re-tamed.

Uh. Weird.

I had one of those dreams again...

I don't know, it felt so coincidental. Yuuji-sensei said something I first heard in one of those dreams... but we're the only ones that read each other's minds.

So lately I’ve been hyper-obsessed with breaking the US into different countries for fun as an alternate future sort of thing and would REALLY appreciate it if some of y'all who live or have lived in the US could fill out my form to gage your opinion and figure out some basic info like national foods, potential boundary changes and whatnot :)

(My one request is that if you check any of the countries in the final section, would you pls also fill out the following question with an explanation, since otherwise I won’t know what to do with it)

Decipher/Deceiver Oc screwing with langouge deciphering out of boredom. Is genuine... likes their title given due to laughing when being hit [not in a kinky way, I do this to as a pain relief, Ecpecailly when I fight with my Siblings get bitten by the dog and laserd] kindle self insert, chaotic energy, than sleeping basically anywhere.

I have a lot daydreams about secret governments and a secret third class... so it's also in my ocs decipher/deciphers lore. She's like a grinch saying santa doesn't exist but tells autobouts about war crimes on killing servant class minors hehe
