The way certain ASOIAF fans claim to unironically not care about the smallfolk is very weird to me. Mind you there isn’t necessarily a problem with not resonating with characters that aren’t inherently given POVS besides like Davos (mind you all of our favs interact with the smallfolk to some degree or another )….but anyways to imply they’re unimportant and what happens to them doesn’t matter seems like such a deeply incorrect reading and understanding of the ASOIAF series?
