As a result of me obsessing over n°1 how perfect the art is, and n°2 how adorable goth Leon is, I've decided to write a mini fluff story about reader x an older goth Leon.

It was a cold evening coming home after work, and you were getting ready for dinner with your husband, Leon.

As the alarm clock on Leon's side of the bed changed to 6:45pm, you started hurrying, flipping through clothes in your closet like a maniac to find a good dress. Your mind kept flipping between "yes!" and "no!" every time you looked at something, until you sighed and sat on the carpet, thinking intensely. Racing thoughts circled you like an intoxicating stress tornado, until Leon knocks on the door.

"Honey, are you okay?" He called out. *God he was sweet.*

He opens the door at your lack of a response and kneels in front of you, obviously wondering what's wrong.

"What's-..." he cuts himself off as he sees a few clothes strewn over the edge of the bed and the open wardrobe. Then, he continues.

"What's wrong, love?" As he looked at you with kind, loving eyes, his hand ran through his hair, golden and silky. His roots were growing in, but he kept them, saying he was trying a new look.

"I can't find anything good to wear... none of it feels right for where you're taking me."

"Oh honey, don't worry about any of that. I got you the perfect thing for tonight," softly, he gets up and walks to the door, reaching to the other side and pulling a deep blue dress off the handle. "I got you this, I want to see you wearing it tonight."

Your heartstrings were plucked and strummed with a warm and loving force at his words. He always adored getting you gifts, going into shops at any moment he could to pick something for you, taking up classes to make things, even relearning how to play guitar so he could serenade you before work one time. He adored the look on your face when you were happy, when you felt *loved*.

After a moment of silence on your behalf with a goofy little grin on your face, he smiles and places a kiss on your forehead, cold metal piercing jewellery tickling your skin. As you look back up at him in his black suit and lacey cravat, he walks out the room to give you time to yourself, letting you calm down and get ready.

When you emerge from the room, all dressed up and smiling (even wearing the silver locket he gave you), he opens his arms and envelopes you with them.

"You look so beautiful, my love. Are you ready?"

"Mhm!"
