Dumb AU idea #5: instead of 1 mewtwo, there are 3. Both of the mega mewtwo forms are instead a separate mewtwo. Some pokemon protagonist (either an adult Red or a swsh trainersona, idk) gets thrown back in time [to before the mewtwos have been let out of their tubes for the first time] and ends up landing right in front of the big old tubes holding the mewtwos. The pokemon champion breaks the mewtwos out and escapes with them to some deserted island. So now a time traveler pokemon champion is taking care of 3 mewtwos who are significantly less traumatized. Insert tooth rotting fluff here.

Ok I just looked it up and yes the war that killed floette happened 3,000 years ago, which is also when the darkest day happens.

On top of that, Junichi Masuda confirmed in an interview that the reason AZ is so ridiculously tall is due to the power of his ultimate weapon affecting his body. This could definitely be used as evidence that AZ was using eternatus to power his machine, as eternatus' power causes living things to get huge.

Thanks! It's one that's been sitting around in my head for a while. I had an interesting concept for an addition to it this morning actually: Giovanni helps the international police take down team rocket. Giovanni happens to help during the mission to shut down the facility where mewtwo is being made. So at the end of the raid Giovanni decides to adopt a small young mewtwo. Yes this also more excuse for fluff.

Alright I realized that I maybe should tell all of you that might care what the plan is:

Im going to draw art for my main 3 AUs that are actually developed and make individual posts for them. All the minor/undeveloped AUs will be posted together in one big post. I'm currently planning on posting them all at the same time, but there is the possibility I'll start posting some before the rest if the drawing takes too long.

If you're curious about the current progress on the drawings, 1 is almost done (just needs shading), 1 is at a fairly fleshed out sketch stage, and the last one is a very rough early wip.

I kinda want to post about my various eternatus centric swsh AUs. But like, do I make a drawing for each? Just make a massive text post? Idk

Dumb AU idea #6: mewtwo!Red. Giovanni said to himself "go big or go home" and threw in dna from other legendaries into mewtwo for giggles. This goes about as well as you would expect. After excaping, mewtwo finds a hat that he decides he likes and keeps it. He also takes on the name Red. Eventually Red the mewtwo meets blue/gary oak. The poor boy is now forever tormented by the strange psychic cat(?) In a hat that won't leave him alone. Also at some point red gets his paws on some pokeballs and starts catching pokemon for his own team.

Ok so I was originally not interested in beta Arceus but then I saw fan art of it and that changed me.

So uh yeah excuse me while I go start making some fanart of that lil eldritch cloud bb.
