Good things don’t happen to Eddie Munson, and he’s very aware of the fact.  That’s kinda the whole foundation of who he is as a person at this point: don’t expect good things to happen. He rolls with it. He makes glitter out of the shit. He lives in his own fantasy because reality has pretty much always sucked since, likely, before he can remember. Good things don’t happen to Eddie Munson, so he has no idea how to wrap his head around Steve Harrington’s sudden appearance in his life as an unmovable fixture.  No fucking clue.

about wylan, and the introduction of his character, I really really do hope that they don't tell us just yet that he can't read, like kudos if it's hinted, kudos if there's several instances where he avoids reading while making up excuses that also hint to there being another problem, but i don't want them to directly tell us that he can't read, not like it's done by van eck at the end of six of crows, because it is something so important to his character imo that he tries to keep it hidden for such a long time it genuinely comes off as a surprise when you find out, when you're explicitly told one of the smartest characters in the series can't read, and also it's part of the things wylan hides about himself that isolates him from the rest of the crows at first but when it's out in the open it's like yeah no they don't care about that, they care about YOU

idk if I'm making sense, but it's things like this, or things like his name being van eck rather than hendriks, or jesper being grisha, or kaz's aversion to touch, or inej's past, things that i like that are not explicitly told but rather shown in the little details right until they come to light for x or y reason

like i wouldn't mind if some things are told explicitly, but it would be nice if they were kept a "secret" for a little while longer, just until we get to six of crows

I see and respect all of you Taller Steve/Taller Eddie people but I cannot agree one way or the other

I'm a Same Height truther because I subscribe to the idea that Steve and Eddie would be so similar in height and build that they can swap clothes easily and comfortably all the way down to their shoes
