ok so. we all know wave’s arc. well how about this: when gatou shows up, sakura is the one hit by haku’s needles. the boys think she’s dead and because let’s face it naruto wouldn’t have had the same reaction for sakura, they go on to fight and because sasuke is better than sakura, neither haku nor zabuza dies. however when team 7 goes to collect sakura’s body, thinking she’s dead, it’s gone. turns out sakura has a reality check regarding her abilities, her relationship with her teammates and how shitty kakashi is as a teacher. so she stays hidden until they leave in another direction to look for her, then she asks zabuza to take her as an apprentice. for some reason, he does. the guy has a bleeding heart. fast forward a few years, both haku and sakura are kickass, zabuza killed kisame so he got samehada and gave kurukiribouchou to sakura. they all go back to kiri to stage a fucking revolution, and it works. zabuza becomes mizukage, haku is the head of the kiri anbu and sakura joins the seven swordsmen new generationTM. sasuke didn’t betray the village cause naruto and him got their feelings in order soon enough and they became a two-men squad. one day they’re sent to kiri on a mission, and they come accross the seven’s training ground.

(wanna know sakura’s most famous technique? senbon. senbon sent to a very specifc part of the skull, which she spent years getting right, the part that says to the hear yeah dude, you should keep beating. if she misses, which she rarely does, well… she does have a huge dick, sorry, sword, so she deals with it)

Random Thoughts: Hades and Persephone Pt. 2

Persephone: Also known as Kore/Kora, which I will be using because it is shorter and spelling is dumb. She is not an innocent maiden. She is someone who is unflinching and tenacious, to see winter and the Death it brings and choose to start again, even though she knows it won't change. She is someone who isn't squeamish, to see corpses staining the ground and use it as fertilizer. She is someone who looks at dead things and grows over them, someone who creeps moss over building to allow for things to grow. She is someone who ate a fruit that looked of blood and loves a man whom most fear. She is someone who was not afraid to walk into that abyss at the edge of the field, who was not afraid to follow the voice and her curiosity. She is someone who looked at her life, found it wanting, and was not afraid to change it.

So while Hades deals with the others, she deals with the bad. She listens to each boast about every bad deed, each hit they throw or take and she decides whether to give them another chance after some punishment, or to chop their soul into bits to feed to Ceberus. And she is not scared.

Persephone is not a tainted lily, nor is she a caged bird. She is not that which is soft against the skin nor that which can be stolen and kept. She is the wind whistling through the cave. She is the flower blooming in a skull and the rot that covers a corpse. She is a garden full of posion all the more beautiful for being untamed. She is a hunter and she is a shield.

Examples of her character not being given the chance to grow:

just becomes a medic after Naruto - no super strength she worked so hard for I guess

marries sasuke - apparently he and Naruto are just Really Good Friends, and she loves him despite all the things he did against her

after time skip, she gets stronger but literally nothing else changes

still has a crush on Sasuke after Konoha crush/actually wants to go with him? Dude he helped the guy who murdered hundreds? You think she likes him after that?

Consider that she wouldn’t be so forward with Sasuke if she had realized the first episode was Naruto flirting and not Sasuke?

Never touched on the genjutsu thing?

Tsunade is the only Sannin with real backlash to using her gift?

Sakura forgives him right away? Even though he tried to murder her? Literally on the sidelines for almost everything?

Random Quirk Headcanons

Eraser is a mental quirk (stolen) believes quirk is gone and believes you can’t access it, not that it actually is gone. (Also implies that Shinsou’s brainwashing could probably get around it) Explains headaches and lowkey insomnia, both of which are mental quirk side effects.!

Midoriya wasn’t burned from Bakugo’s explosions because of either a: he got some fire resistant properties from his father, or b: he found burn cream with regeneration quirk properties Explains: no scars from Bakugo without using makeup

All For One’s quirk is touch based, and does this thing where it goes into the genes and copies the Quirk Gene, but in doing so destroys it. this is added to his chromosomes, which have been built to have a set number of quirk factors. (which is why sometimes he switches good quirks for bad ones, or makes so many Nomus) However doing so to a Quirkless Kid does nothing except cause pain because the quirk is searching through DNA for something that doesn’t exist. Giving a quirk to a quirkless kid causes brain deformation because their brains aren’t adapted to a quirk, and the quirk gene spot is occupied. Explains: how AFO works

OFA adds a similar structure that AFO has and so it must freely be given or AFO won’t be able to grab it as his quirk can only effect where the quirk gene should be, not the structure that pulled the person’s quirk into and amplified and added other quirks to.

Bakugo has lower blood pressure but instead of getting medicine or anything (“I’m not weak!”) instead looks for fights for the adrenalin. also suffers recoil on shoulders from bigger blasts.

Kaminari gets his electricity from neurons and dumb mode is because he has the neuron equivalent of fuses, so him going over his limit blows one of those, which shuts down his ability to move his body, or everything except his emergency functions. It is quirk exhaustion, but if he tries to keep using his quirk, after that, it may start to damage fine motor skills/ability to feel pain and stuff. He also generates electricity, which makes him think faster, and move faster/better reflexes if he trained for it. Also why he needs move/shows symptoms of ADHD.

Kirishima: his skin cells are flooded chitin as opposed to Testutestus iron.
