Do you think it is at all possible that, in the 24th century, it would be possible for someone to hack Starfleet records and actually create an entry for an officer?
I don't know. I was listening to the episode "Grounded" yesterday (I like to listen to shows while I work), and Tendi mentioned the Academy. I know she also mentioned not really getting out that much, but...she was in San Francisco for a time, and yet the first time she saw sand was in the holodeck in the pilot episode? It's been awhile since I've been to SF, so maybe I am overestimating how much sand is there, but it seems like a weird thing. She never went to any place in SF that might have sand? Maybe a park with a sandbox, even? I assume they still have sandboxes in the 24th century, but perhaps I assume too much.
This all goes back to my "sleeper agent" theory. Maybe Tendi never went to the Academy, or Earth, if it IS possible to just hack in and make her an officer.
I don't really believe my theory, but wouldn't it be crazy if I was right all this time?
And these themes and motifs continue through the movies and shows! The whole franchise is a master class on scoring and soundtracks done right

I don’t know if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but have the color of Boba’s pauldrons changed? In the Original Trilogy, Boba’s pauldrons were gold, which represents vengeance for Mandalorian armor colors according to Wookiepedia.
However, in the Book of Boba Fett trailer, his pauldrons appear to be orange, which represents a lust for life. Maybe this color change will represent a change in Boba’s outlook on life after the sarlac pit. Where before he sought vengeance for his father’s death, now he wants to live life to the fullest. But, I may be reading too much into this, and I may be seeing the color incorrectly.
I have 2 headcannons for this:
1) Cloak-Bot is probably too damaged at this point to cloak, and he mostly likely can’t find supplies on Earth to fix that
2) Desperation. At this point in the episode, Cloak-Bot has about 30 minutes before he self destructs, so he’s throwing caution to the wind in order to beat the deadline and stay alive
What happened to stay out of sight? Also, this is a SICK shot!!!! Love it!!!!

the reason Hall of the Mountain King slaps so hard is that if you start listening to it at a volume that isn’t ‘loud enough to blow your speakers out once it gets to the fortissisissimo at the end’ the start of it is so imperceptibly soft that if you’re not using headphones and there’s any substantial ambient bg noise you basically cannot pinpoint when you start hearing it — if you’ve never heard it before you won’t be sure if you’re hearing music or smth else and if you have heard it before it’s so distinctive your mind will remember what it should sound like start and filling in the gaps long before you can actually hear it. which is the ideal ‘entering a mountain cave and not being sure if your ears or imagination are playing tricks on you until you are most absolutely definitely in a king’s hall so mindbogglingly vast and majestic and intimidating that it keeps outpacing your ability to keep up with everything you’re seeing’ effect.
like you CAN cheat this by cranking the volume way up at the beginning and then cranking it back down to a normal setting halfway through but. why would you.

imagine hearing “hall of the mountian king” for the first time in 1875. the sheer chaos imagine being some norwegian aristocrat and sitting down for a nice day at the symphony and getting your entire wig and life snatched right before your very eyes
