Revisiting an AU thingymabob I tried a while ago.

While coinciding, this isn't really part of Narlieweek but I have some ideas for it.

I've seen these before, but it just now occured to me that they look like this

... Squash are generally one of my favourite plants, and the variety there is among them is cool

i cannot BELIEVE IM HAVING THIS DILEMMA OVER A FUCKING SQUASH

so i wake up in the morning and i see THIS FLOWERY BITCH goddamn sitting on the kitchen counter and i go WTF IS THAT and my partner just casually answers a squash as if it doesnt fucking defy the laws of squash physics so guess im the weird one for fixating on a fuckign squash but it goes even deeper than that because it not only activated my interested monkey brain but activated my mother instinct sense to fucking BABY IT bc its flower shaped and it gives me goddamn cute aggression

like i should not be having to fight myself to eat a fucking squash but instead of it registering as food like a common sense human MY AUTISTIC ASS REGISTERS IT AS A LITTLE SQUASH BABY and like any common sense mother YOU WOULDNT EAT YOUR FUCKING BABY but ITS A FUCKING SQUASH AND I NEED TO PUT IT IN THE PAN AND PUT SOME SEASONINGS ON IT INSTEAD OF DIAPERS but thats fucking hard when your fucking food looks more like those stupid fucking reversible octopus plushies than actual fucking squash

WHY TF DOES THIS SQUASH EXIST WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SHAPED LIKE THAT i believe all of my previous ancestors were in intergenerational cahoots and specifically designed this squash just to test my ability to eat this instead of fucking mother instincting peta sloganing squash are friends not food this fucking squash

anyway its called early white bush scallop squash and im currently in an autism fueled moral dilemma about eating it
