Pretty much how the season will play out:

Eleven is using the void to search for Brenner.

She digs into the past, watches young him playing baseball.

She sees him lonely and neglected (The book implies he had no childhood. Pretty fucking huge tipoff).

She ends up discovering him in the hospital so has to travel by bus with friends to find him and fight with him.

They all figure out he's mutated into the zombie spider monster.

She kills him because he's an actual monster now.

The last thing left in the finale is the Mindflayer.

Why does everyone think that stupid trailer monster is Billy? It's most likely Brenner and an easy excuse for Eleven to dig into his past, find him and kill him off.

Brenner is a mini-boss and won't be back in the last season. He's going to get killed before the final boss, the Mindflayer.

I'm pretty sure he's coming back as that stupid monster in the hospital so I think you're getting your wish.

I may sound like a crazy person… and people are probably gonna be like umm wtf? But i actually want Brenner to show up in season 3… i’m sorry but i love drama and angst and Eleven vs. Brenner? Um yes please i need to see El defeat that mf once and for all.

Also Winona Ryder and Maya's dad Ethan Hawke were in Reality Bites. That's dope.
