I’m being completely honest in saying that for me the only good thing about Season 3 was Robin.
I’m not a shipper at all but I think something could have been addressed with Will and where Eleven and Max were going with their relationships (Let’s dump our boyfriends and figure out that we’re badass bisexuals could have been a cool subplot, Duffers!)
I still need to re-watch season 3 of Stranger Things but I find myself with little motivation to do it just because I know that I have to get through the "Mike and El are dating and Hopper hates it” stuff at the start and it’s so painfully heterosexual that I just can’t be bothered to be assaulted by it again.
It was hard enough to not skip through it the first time I saw it.
For all y'all who think Brenner is evil:
Brenner basically warned Mike and Will's mothers about provoking the Upside Down because it would fuck shit up and they just didn't listen because "he's some creepy guy who was mean to a self-destructive child weapon but let's humanize her and make her a cool teen with a boyfriend lol" and now their kids and other dumb people keep teasing the USD like it's a zoomied up cat and then they wonder why it keeps biting them for no reason.
Is it safe to say that Stranger Things is going to end up being the How I Met Your Mother or Lost of the 2020s?
For Stranger Things fans who don't get this joke...
